sorry, I can't agree with that......the Chinese government owns a controlling interest in EVERY business in China.......that, by definition, is socialism......

I am a millennial. and actually had to move out of my parents house and struck out on my own so I know all the ways we are coddled.

first we're not allowed to fail so we don't know how to succeed because you can't succeed if you first don't know how to fail.
Second we turn bullying into a crime. And this is because nobody knows how to deal with a bully. And it's all fine telling your mommy while you're in school but in your professional life nobody cares about your mommy so you're ill equipped to deal with bullies which is something you're going to have to deal with through the rest of your life.
Third everyone is special everyone is a precious little snowflake and the whole world revolves around you. so if it's too hard to earn the money you think you deserve you blame wages and rich people and Donald Trump instead of the person in the mirror who is the person who is really responsible for it.

I am a millennial like it or not I grew up in the same culture is other millennials I had to learn most of this in my adulthood. And I'm glad the world quit cuddling be early enough to figure it out. I'm one of the rare millennials that actually got a job at the age of 16. A professional career by the age of 20. The way I was able to do that is I became a mechanic I wasn't too delicate and prissy to work outside with my hands and get dirty.

If you don't want to be a wage slave try harder that's all you have to do the world is yours. the great thing about it if you're a millennial and you're getting hired as a millennial all you have to do it's just a little bit more than you're millennial counterparts which doesn't take that much and you'll be promoted. Another thing you can do is learn whatever your trade is and strike out on your own yes it's risky but the reward is worth it.

If the reason why you're not coddled is because of a virus or an airplane attack you are extremely coddled. I struck out in my career field just after 9/11 within a year of that. It was hard but I was harder.

I grew up middle & upper middle class & was diagnosed with PTSD as a teen.
Due to a series of events of violence.

I am 34 years old.
Grew up in Putnam Lake, NY.
Solidly middle class & above area.
Having a 83K a year household income above the 59K average household income of the USA.

There was a lot of anger, despair, sadness & just plain disfunction growing up there.

My first friend ever has PTSD from serving in Afghanistan.

My second friend got into drugs & blew off his head with a shot gun.

My 3rd friend was in & out of jail for fist fights.
He is the dude who randomly attacked my Black Jamaican friend.

My 4th friend robbed me at gun point, attempted suicide in front of me & with a group attacked me & took off my clothes had to walk home like that.
He
Went to jail for stabbing a cabbie & them got out & died of a drug OD.

My 4th friend turned on me & broke my nose.
He bullied me for years.
He is now in jail for holding up over 12 cabbies by knife point.

My 5rh friend ended up homeless& with PTSD as A VETERAN.

My 6th friend us successful in MMA. .

My 7th friend runs a successful deli.

My 8th friend the Black Jamaican one I spoke of earlier.
Was attacked by skaters who hurled rocks, slurs & shot fireworks at him too.
He
Went to jail for stabbing another Black dude & got out & was accused of rape by a White girl went back to jail.

My 9th friends mother died & his parents lost the house & ended up living in a trailer in Wingdale.

My 10th friend has Bi Polar attempted suicide & lost his dad in his teens.

My 11th friend got cancer in his teens.

Millennials are better educated & productivity is way up.

But, millennials make 20% less at the same age as boomers.

It's that outsourcing, automation, feminism & immigrants have been crashing the wage market.
