If you look around here at who is freaking out and overreacting, it's the hateful posters who are most likely to be infected...the ones who are not well to begin with...

A small number of cases, a long time. An explosion like this, a few weeks. It could have been contained. Even if the explosion in cases had been delayed by a week, many would have been saved. We would have been that much closer to having the tools ready to fight it.

I wish the Pandemic Task Force had not been terminated in October.

I guess you're entitled to your opinion, but it's been handled since the "beginning" and most everyone took it seriously....the people who didn't wouldn't have done any differently under any other circumstances....
But you didn't answer the question....what would you like to see being done differently now?

I would like testing for anyone who wants it. Like South Korea is doing. Information is power, if you know you have it you are less likely to spread it.

Explain how these objectives could have been achieved more perfectly. Tell me what should have been done that wasn't?

Absolutely UNTRUE.

I know a Doctor very well (A Trumpper) who is very frustrated that he cannot get people tested. The CDC and lab are refusing.

I know a young mother who is very sick, her Doctor ordered she be tested, the lab refused because she had no foreign travel.


I dont know about other states, but in Florida, to get tested you must:

Be showing symptoms.
Have been exposed to the virus.
Be in the hospital.

Why would you be tested if you're showing no symptoms, haven't been exposed, etc.? I simply don't believe your "very sick mom" story....

When you say "a long time" can you provide a month? January? December? November? Also, how do you contain something you can't see?

What powers does the President of the United States have that can contain a virus in a country the size of the United States? Can he grab someone and force them into quarantine? Would you support that?
