We need a President who isn't a laughing stock

Rightwing posters and their flabby Orange Hero seem to live in a perpetual state of contrived victimhood.

^^This from a Commie loving moron who has been crying for three fucking years on this forum. One can only imagine how unhinged a Marxist moron like you will become when Trump wins another four years.

Trump is simply a terrible two in international politics.

Bullshit Blob's verbal diarrhea has no apparent limits.
He should be dissected for the benefit of science.

Coming from a clueless. know-nothing leftist hack like you, your crying is a badge of honor to me.

But, whatever you do, do not deal with the thread topic or anything substantive. ;)

You need to re-read my post.
I said it was a collective effort.

But if you want to measure the amount of damage and destruction inflicted on the Wehrmacht, if you want to take stock and accounting of the utter annihilation of the greater part of the armed forces of Nazi Germany, look no further than the citizen soldiers of the Red Army.

Lend lease undoubtedly helped, but no foreign power has ever invaded Russia and lived to tell the tale.

What you said was the US had 0% of defeating Germany alone. I disagree the war would have dragged on for who knows how long but in the end we would have won. Of course we will never know for sure as we would have had a coalition and the help of the resistance in the occupied countries. Never doubt the industrial might of the US nor the determination of the American people. The Japanese made that mistake when they attacked us.

A salient point.

Rightwing posters and their flabby Orange Hero seem to live in a perpetual state of contrived victimhood.

You could browse this message board, and find literally three billion posts by rightwingers crying like little girls about how facebook, twitter, and google are "banning" conservatives. There is always some Kenyan-Marxist plot out there to do them in.

Yep. That whole "Deep State" nonsense is nothing but an excuse for why their glorious orange gourd can't get anything done, why they haven't been able to implement the Fourth Reich so far, why the Man is keeping them down. The rest of us, of course, refer to that as "checks and balances," and "the rule of law."

I didn't say these things you made a general claim about social media and I rebutted it.

Actually you didn't. You just said that posts on social media could be taken out of context, with no proof of an instance where that happened. As I recall we were discussing the tweet about having an embarrassing POTUS on the world stage, in the OP. The one that Trump posted in 2014 about Obama, which turned out to really be about himself.

Well I didn't think I would need to point to specific instances. Those things have happened on both sides. As I said if you believe it doesn't happen you are naïve.

Realistically, without the UK and the USSR, the United States would not have had the logistics, the manpower, the forward operating bases, to invade Europe, defeat the entirety of the German army, capture Berlin, and force an unconditional surrender on the smoldering remains of the Nazis.

Furthermore, you had an isolationist Republican Party in the United States who did not want to confront Nazi Germany in the first place, did not want to get involved in Europe, and would have done everything in their power to make FDR seek an accommodation with Germany, if FDR had had to face a brutal and far-from-winnable slugfest with Germany by himself, without UK and USSR

Bullshit. Most didn't want us in it. But, of course, you were there, right?

Well, the story may be slightly different from what I said in some minor details - like the America Firsters were ridddled with Nazi sympathizers and might have tried to raise a rebellion if Roosevelt had gone in before Dec 7, 1941.

Hint: look up irony

Funny how the most devastating wars the US has ever been involved occurred with Democratic Presidents who did nothing until it was too late.

The most devastating war the US has ever been involved in was the Civil War, and it happened under a Republican president.
You may recall a couple years ago Trump announcing that Lincoln was a Republican?

So enlighten me: what should Lincoln have done, surrendered?

So Lincoln was wrong? We should have allowed the South to secede?

I keep forgetting I am dealing with dishonest dullards and should have said MODERN era.

Regarding forign affairs, Trump reminds me more of England's Neville Chamberlain, than any American leader.
