We need a President who isn't a laughing stock

WE did surprisingly well while you were scared shitless of Hitler though. You only got involved, after all, to stop the USSR taking over the markets, after they'd broken the Nazis.

You really are a stupid foreigner if you don't know why we entered WWII

We base it on the British suffered more casualties in WWI and WWII.

We base it that Europe is once again the front line in a war, not the USA

We base it on the fact that Trump does not have a fucking clue what to do.

It's interesting that the trumpers can never do anything but make threatening noises about how they're going to call out the bogey-men who can't read from the backwoods to bully all the educated swine who laugh at their pet monster. Even scumbags like Johnson are desperate to pretend they never even met the senile clown, and all sensible people laugh at the fool not to despair. God help America!

BoJo is going to win handsomely Welsh Wanker, I hope you'll go off and top yourself!!

Heck, I know that! It's because America Firsters all over the country were demanding it; but Roosevelt wouldn't do it until the Japanese attacked, then he had to do it. He was a Democrat, you know (a lot of Republicans thought he was a communitst). :)

It's often forgotten that it led to Germany's declaring war on the USA, a most unintended consequence. The Republicans had been happy for Hitler to control Europe forever, and kill all the Jews.

As the summit concluded, journalists were keen to ask Mr Johnson about the footage that had wounded Mr Trump so deeply. The Prime Minister, however, appeared mystified. “I don’t know where that’s come from,” he replied with a frown of bemusement, when a journalist suggested that he didn’t take Mr Trump seriously.

Several other questions were asked about Mr Trump, but the Prime Minister seemed strangely reluctant to talk about him. When asked whether he thought Mr Trump was a force for good in the world, he talked instead about the importance of the United States in general.

When asked whether he thought Mr Trump was either “an amnesiac or a liar”, he said the question was “extraneous to our dealings here today”. I hope the President won’t take this the wrong way. He is, as we know, a sensitive soul.

I doubt rightwing Trump boot-lickers on this forum are capable of seeing a problem with Trump being an international laughing stock, because of their self-identification with their hero.

They identify with Trump, obviously perceive him to be a soul-mate-of-sorts, and rightwing posters undoubtedly see something of themselves in him:

uncool
unfunny
unpopular
petulant
resentful
riven by petty grievances

95% of America was isolationistic, wanting no war in Europe. That included most of the American Firsters on the far right, the commies on the far left until Hitler invaded Russia. FDR was no communist, though some of the Republicans were fascists.

Only when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor did American war opinion change mightily for intervention.

You base that on 3 leaders of 2 wimpy countries and the UK that couldn't win a war without the US pulling their fat out of the fire..

Exactly zero percent chance the United States could have ever defeated Nazi Germany, and forced them to an unconditional surrender without the UK and the Soviet Union.

It was a collective effort, and as long as honesty is going to play a part, it was the armed forces of the USSR that deserves the lion's share of the credit for crushing Nazi Germany.

And let us never forget the almost unbelievable number of people it took them to do it.

Trumpanzees don't think that the opinions of any other nation in the world are important. They never stray more than a pickup truck ride from their double wides. They don't have passports. They've never visit the great cultural centers of the world outside of our borders. Most don't visit the great cultural centers within our borders like Boston, New York, and San Francisco. They're fucking crackers, and no drivel that spills from their mouths is worthy of an intelligent, sophisticated person's attention.

Let them go to their country music concerts and NASCAR races and Bible Study Meetings and Ku Klux Klan rallies and Donald Trump rallies. Keep them away from decent people.
They're diseased and dangerous inbred troglodytes.

Could the UK and Russia have defeated Germany and Italy without US forces and lend lease? You seem to forget we were fighting two wars at the same time. Also Russia had American weapons when they pushed the Germans off Soviet soil.
