Jim Jordan rips Dems Star witness to shreds!

Are you really that daft?

Anyone can cherry pick and frame documents to build a case for whatever they want to say in an article or two, as I noted, I can copy and post a similar blog from the left that will "prove" Trump did just about anything you could think of, those sites aren't trustworthy, left or right

Solomon has next to zero credibility, need proof, cross check everything he is claiming off of another site, and Gateway, Blaze, and Breitfaet don't count

We'll wait
unfucking real.
I SHOW YOU THE DOCUMENT THAT HUNTER WAS IN CONTACT WITH STATE AND YOU STILL CAN'T ACCEPT IT.

“Opinion: Day 1 of the Trump impeachment hearing was a lost day for Democrats

Day 1 of the public House impeachment hearings on President Trump is in the books, and nothing that happened will move public opinion in a meaningful way. The folks who have wanted to impeach Trump since he won the presidency still do, and the folks who don’t still don’t.

In other words, it’s a lost day for Democrats.

The burden of proof is on Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Burbank) to do more than secure impeachment, which is all but certain. Their job is to conduct these hearings in a way that moves public opinion to the point that the Senate will convict the president. That means giving Republican senators something that changes their impression of Trump’s conduct of Ukraine foreign policy. What’s alleged may make many members of the GOP uncomfortable, but it doesn’t come remotely close to requiring that the president be removed from office.

The opening-day witnesses — diplomatic officials Bill Taylor and George Kent — testified professionally and with honor, but they failed to deliver a made-for-TV gotcha. Rather, they simply reiterated that they had no firsthand knowledge of the president’s interactions and had not had conversations with the president directly.“

LA Times...gasp!

 An opinion piece by a conservative commentator. I wouldn't expect anything less.

https://www.rferl.org/a/ukraine-shokin-prosecutor-resigns/27555979.html
Ukrainian media and a pro-Western lawmaker say Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin resigned on February 16 after President Petro Poroshenko asked him and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to step down.

Shokin's deputy, meanwhile, said the prosecutor had taken a three-day vacation, but did not specify whether in fact he had resigned.

Shokin has faced accusations of stalling high-profile corruption cases against allies of Viktor Yanukovych, the former president who was toppled by protests in February 2014.

So, Taylor’s testimony is based on some office scuttle-butt heard around the water cooler lol?

I almost feel sorry for some of these people Democrats trot out in front of Congress. I actually believe Taylor when he says he doesn’t have an agenda—but his testimony is a joke. It would be thrown out in any courtroom.

Again, the take home point is this: it was only after his second meeting with Zelensky that Zelensky was even aware that aid was being delayed—and it was only because someone at Politico *alerted them*.

Apart from being highly suspicious in terms of collusion between ‘certain House members’ and the media—that is a slam dunk for this fact: if there was a quid pro quo IT WAS NOT BEING COMMUNICATED TO THE UKRAINIANS BY ANYONE IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION.

It's a fact-finding investigation, not a courtroom trial.

Well, you expect good numbers on the first day lol.

But there was no bombshell for democrats; in fact, it was a dud. Look for the numbers to drop as people lose interest in it.
as long as it's a partisan impeachment
( and at this point I can't imagine a "bombshell" we already don't know that would change it ) support for impeachment is gonna be pure partisan.

Which means it goes nowhere.
Considering the reliance on hearsay the Senate might even vote do dismiss on a majority vote

Trump runs in 2020 as a sympathetic character who is getting stuff done for the USA .
Amazingly the Dems are generating sympathy when added with Russian collusion etc.

The Dems are so f*cked up in the head w/TDS they wont even vote on NAFTA 2.
Trump is going to beat them with a stick over their "do nothing" TDS

It is an undisputed fact that there was no legitimate reason for Burisma to pay H. Biden over a million dollars.

Says who? It was their business decision, apparently they thought it was money well-spent and it has nothing to do with anyone else.

Remind me when the repubs in Congress raised the alarm about HB before trump infested the WH. They had the majority at the time.

But that’s been ‘settled’ lol.

What Democrats need to be wary of is they will be relying on Chief Justice Roberts to play along with their shenanigans in a Senate trial. There’s no coherent reason to take Hunter Biden off the table since the whole thing pivots around the question of whether it was reasonable/unreasonable for Trump to ask Zelensky for an investigation of the Biden’s.

It won’t matter—to an honest jurist, if Trump got warm political fuzzies over the prospect of a Biden investigation. What matters is if they were involved in corrupt activities with Burisma.

So, in all probability Hunter will have to appear and if Democrats are going to *be honest with themselves* they will recognize they aren’t sure where it will go from there.

Same ditto for the WB: If Roberts adheres to the law, as it is written, the law offers no protection for the WB anonymity in a Senate trial. The law only guarantees no retribution from the IG.

Democrats: do yourselves a favor and find the brake pedal on this thing.

If what you're saying is true, and I'm not saying it is, then HB should be investigated separately because he has nothing to do with trump.

Nuttinhoney, the reason the EU, IMF, NATO and the US sent Biden was that Shokin wasn’t investigating shit. That’s your lie.
