I've honestly never heard a transgender person ask someone how many genders there are. All they care about is if someone, especially a person in a position of power, believes that LGBT folk have the same rights as the rest of us.

Because there's two, and some people are committed to the truth. Not the left, obviously.

I guess we should start tracking genders alongside dimensions. We're not really sure, yet, if there are more than four dimensions.
 
There are not 2 . There is a long-range peopled by people with a different mix of sexual chemistry between our general concepts of boy and girl. She was trying to trap him.

In fairness, it can be argued that *true* transgenders [people with the misfortune to be born with both parts] constitutes a third gender referred to as ‘hermaphrodite’.

But here’s the point: hermaphroditism is recognized as an anomaly—because there are only two genders recognized by biology.

The transgender stuff is madness. Literally.

There are people who ‘think’ there is a disparity between their gender and the parts they were born with. Their thoughts don’t make it true any more than I can ‘think’ myself into being a Samoan.

To the OP point: I enjoy watching democrats run afoul of the lefty thought police lol. Whoever said she/her was trying to set Biden up was probably right. These loony birds would actually NOT vote for a person simply because they don’t conform to lefty gender dogma.

Biden makes an easy target because it’s doubtful he stays abreast of all the absurd nuances the lefties have contrived on the topic.

The broader point is the radical lefties want nothing to do with Biden—so I’d say she/her was trying to set Biden up.
