"Sanders is right: Republican tax cuts cost more than forgiving student debt"

Since 1980, there has not been a single instance of a tax cut delivering on any promise made of it.
Lie.
Reagan's tax cuts exploded the deficit and debt, leading to a recession.
Lie.
Bush the Dumber's tax cuts erased the surplus
Lie. There never was a surplus.
and doubled the debt,
Non-sequitur fallacy.
and were also responsible for the economic collapse,
Lie. Overspeculation was the cause of every crash in the same period.
according to Bush.
Lie.
The Russia Tax Cut has exploded the deficit yet again,
Russia finances do not affect our deficit.
increasing it by 25% this year and 39% last year.
Russia finances do not affect our deficit.
And we didn't even get 3% growth in 2018, like they promised.
It was not promised. It simply happened.
Conservative voodoo economics never work.
Inversion fallacy.
The only goal they serve is flying planes of tax cuts into the budget,
Tax cuts are not aircraft.
and then declaring a jihad on social spending
A tax cut is not a religious war. Neither is social spending.
to which they're ideologically opposed,
Compositional error fallacy.
but lack the courage, support, and will to repeal through conventional legislation.
Lie.
So instead, they deliberately create deficits
Lie. The government has been running deficits since the Fed was created in 1913.
to use as an excuse to exact punitive harm on those they sanctimoniously judge.
Lie.
Conservatism is terrorism.
Redefinition fallacy (conservative<->terrorist).

Check the scoreboard:

2015: No tax cut, 2.88% GDP growth, deficit shrinks to $438B, 2.7 million jobs created
2018: Russia Tax Cut, 2.85% GDP growth, deficit grows to $832B, 2.6 million jobs created

Argument from randU fallacy. Non-sequitur fallacy.

Forgiving all student loan debt would be the greatest economic stimulus this nation has seen since the New Deal.

All those Gen Xers and Millennials who pay student loans will suddenly have hundreds of dollars a month freed up to spend elsewhere in the economy.

Forgiving student loan debt makes perfect economic sense. Cutting taxes for rich people doesn't, and never has.

Conservatives are so desperate to turn their Russia Tax Cut into a positive that they will openly lie about it because they think the American people are as dumb as they are.

If the Russia Tax Cut was so great, how come none of the people who voted for it ran on it in 2018?

How come no Republican wanted to talk about their Russia Tax Cut?

And what happened to 3% growth? We didn't hit that last year and we sure as shit aren't going to hit it this year.

The New Deal was not an economic stimulus. It is what took a normal downturn and lengthened it into the Great Depression. It is what made the Great Depression Great.
All those Gen Xers and Millennials who pay student loans will suddenly have hundreds of dollars a month freed up to spend elsewhere in the economy.
And what about the others that paid off their student loans? Fuck you.
Forgiving student loan debt makes perfect economic sense.
No, it doesn't. It is favoritism. It is unequal taxation. It is unconstitutional.
Cutting taxes for rich people doesn't, and never has.
Lie. Taxes were cut for everyone, not just the rich.

Conservatives are so desperate to turn their Russia Tax Cut into a positive
Conservatives in the United States could care less what Russia does with their taxes.
that they will openly lie about it because they think the American people are as dumb as they are.
Lie about what? Void argument fallacy.
If the Russia Tax Cut was so great, how come none of the people who voted for it ran on it in 2018?
Because Russia's taxes are not our concern in the U.S.

What about it?

Do you know what debt is?

Do you?

You cut taxes which "lets people keep more of what they earn", but then those people end up going into debt and/or draining their savings.

Right. Many of them spend the money you've refrained from stealing from them (stimulating the economy, hence, demonstrating supply-side economics), and run out of their own money more slowly than they would have if you had stolen a bunch of it before they could spend it (poor people are usually poor because they are impulsive and irrational with money, which is good for the economy).

This really isn't rocket science there, genius.

So going into debt is letting you keep more of what you earn?

That's the stupidest possible way to misinterpret what was stated. Try to keep up. :palm:

You're making no sense. Try again...You're not very smart.

Says the guy who can't follow literally the simplest concept in all of economics: Not bankrupting and impoverishing people makes them more prosperous, even if they spend it all away.

That shattering sound is your glass house you're throwing stones from. :rofl2:

Conservatives promised that if their Russia Tax Cut was passed, wages would grow by at least $4,000. They didn't.

Conservatives vowed that if their Russia Tax Cut was passed, the economy would grow at least 3%. It didn't.

Conservatives screeched that if their Russia Tax Cut was passed, the deficit would decline. It didn't.

Conservatives oinked that if their Russia Tax Cut was passed, revenue would increase. It didn't.

Conservatives mooed that if their Russia Tax Cut was passed, the market would grow like crazy. It didn't.

Nothing Conservatives have said about their Russia Tax Cut has turned out to be true.

That's why no Conservative wanted to talk about their Russia Tax Cut during the 2018 campaign.

Translation: I won't have to come up with real arguments if I just hurl hysterically emotional Russia conspiracy theories at every conversation.

Oh, and your misinformed arguments are also false.

The Corporate Tax Cut Is Paying for Itself

Sanders is a liar and you are a moron.

Besides, the answer is never more taxes, the answer is cut spending. We can start by tossing back all those fucking illegal aliens asses that you have your lips so firmly planted on.

I repeat:

Sanders is a liar and you are a moron. Besides, the answer is never more taxes, the answer is cut spending. We can start by tossing back all those fucking illegal aliens asses that the Democrats have their lips so firmly planted on.

So you don't. Cool. Thought so, but just wanted to make sure.

So peopel going into debt doesn't mean they are keeping more of what they earn. It means they're not keeping any of it because they have to borrow.

And you're here arguing in favor of that.

This is why Conservative economics always fail. ALWAYS. No exceptions.

Wow.

What a fucking goober.

So you're still conceding that they're running out of money, so the tax cut isn't doing anything to reverse that trend, and is actually speeding it up as you say. So they're not "keeping more of what they earned", they're actually borrowing more to cover expenses and costs.

So again, every time taxes have been cut the last 40 years, personal savings decrease and household debt increases.

So tax cuts are deficit spending.

why are you even still here? seriously buttwipe

posts like this one you leave us all laughing, how can someone babble incoherently, and end it with "no exceptions" as if anyone is listening to you
go away already, you are our male version of evince

That's the usual fuck of it. "If you give us more money, maybe something good will happen for you too."
How can that be sold to the middle class and poor over and over?

That's the stupidest possible way to misinterpret what was stated. Try to keep up.

That is your argument.

That is what you just said.

You argued that tax cuts let people keep more of what they earned, but then you turn right around and say that they're not keeping any of it and in fact, they have to borrow MORE right after it.

So why does borrowing and debt always increase after tax cuts if people are keeping more of what they earned? You aren't explaining that. You're avoiding it.

Says the guy who can't follow literally the simplest concept in all of economics: Not bankrupting and impoverishing people makes them more prosperous, even if they spend it all away.

What a fucking idiot.

If you're going into debt, you're bankrupting yourself. And after tax cuts, people go into debt.
