This is the literal equivalent of what lunatic fringe Democrat Buttigieg argued at the debate.

How about don't illegally break into other people's countries with your children if you don't want to get separated? Imagine illegally breaking into France, marching down THEIR streets with AMERICAN flags, demanding that everyone speak OUR language, give US taxpayer-funded handouts...and smearing anyone who objects as immoral.

Here's the difference. When parents rob a bank, their kids aren't also put into jail. And while the kids do suffer, because their parents are taken away, they still know where their parents are. They can visit them and know if they're ok.
 
I would think separating small children from their Parents is opposed by the Majority of People.
Supposedly, as Mayor Pete points out, the Religious-types 'love' children. You would think the 'Christians' would be opposed to this.
They go to great lengths to stop Abortions. Where are they NOW?

No, but when kids that are illegally here refuse to leave, they're no different than the person that actually robbed the bank.

the children aren't in jail........they are being held until some one can be found who is not a criminal can take responsibility for them.......

How about we stop *enticing* them to come here in the first place? It’s grossly irresponsible for democrats to even be talking about giving illegal immigrants free healthcare.

What the hell is up with that anyway? I’ll accept some degree of vote-pandering by politicians I vote for. I understand how the game works. But pandering to non-citizens is over the top.

They want the illegals to get into the country—and then get them voting. That much is obvious.

In lots of cases, the parents are being separated from their children, rather than the children arriving alone. And even in those cases where the kids arrive alone, they're still being held in terrible conditions.

I don't support criminal activity by illegal. You do and expect others to have compassion for those criminals.

It's not really up to the kids whether they stay or leave, it's up to their parents.
And either way, the conditions they're being held in is terrible.
