Roughly 300 Congolese and Angolan citizens who arrived in San Antonio the first week of June after crossing the U.S.-Mexico border days earlier have all briskly departed the city for destinations across the country, some with fuzzy plans based partly on hope.

The hundreds of family members and single adults from Central Africa first showed up June 4 at the southern border’s Eagle Pass and Del Rio towns in south-central Texas. The Africans surrendered to Border Patrol agents and claimed "asylum" after crossing the Rio Grande.

The African immigrants then received bus tickets.

“If a family, the sponsor, it’s been 24-48 hours and they can’t buy the ticket, then we’ll buy it,” Elizabeth Nemeth, executive director of Catholic Charities' west side center said . For a family of five to seven looking to travel by bus to New York, it will cost $2,000, she said.

African migrants are spending six to seven months traveling to Brazil then up to the U.S.

Those entering the U.S. through this route did so because they “were scared the process was not gonna work, or that it’s last a standstill," said Christina Higgs, Catholic Charities spokeswoman for the San Antonio region. Some worried traveling to or through Europe was “getting really dangerous."

“He used the term, and I hate to say it, but they were trying to hedge their bets by coming his way and see if they couldn’t get here that way,” she added.

Officials expect Africans to continue arriving.

President Trump has announced a deal with the Mexican government which will allow border officials to end the catch-and-release of Central American illegal immigrants.

A good deal for Trump is a bad deal for DEMOCRATS.

Ending catch-and-release is a huge win for America because it means border officials now have a legal alternative to the catch-and-release cycle which encouraged illegal immigrants to enter the United States and claim asylum.

Those catch-and-release rules allowed illegal immigrants to get work permits before their asylum court hearings.

Instead of catch-and-release, illegal immigrants can be returned to Mexico until their asylum claims can be heard by a judge.

The “joint declaration” was outlined in a State Department message: illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. Southern Border to seek asylum will be rapidly returned to Mexico where they may await the adjudication of their asylum claims.

In response, Mexico will authorize the entrance of Central Americans, in compliance with its international obligations, while they await the adjudication of their American asylum claims. Mexico will also offer work, basic healthcare, and Mexican education to the Central Americans.

Both parties also agree that, in the event the measures do not have the expected results, America will take further action.

Mexico’s agreement to offer work and healthcare to Central Americans will weaken the arguments expected to be raised in a flood of lawsuits by open-borders globalists.

Mexico also promised to step up police enforcement against the cartels’ labor trafficking from Central America into the United States.

Mexico will take unprecedented steps to increase enforcement to curb irregular migration, to include the deployment of its National Guard to its southern border.

The promise of extra enforcement is vague, and far less important to U.S. border security than the return of Central Americans to Mexico.

The deal allows Mexico to dodge tariffs.

The deal means that border agencies will not have to release illegal immigrants into the United States to wait for asylum hearings.

The end of catch-and-release will devastate the Mexican cartels’ trafficking businesses, which depends on illegal immigrants getting into the US.

California will become the first state in the country to pay for people living in the country illegally to have full health benefits.

DEMOCRATS in the state Legislature agreed to spend $213 billion of state and federal tax money over the next year. The agreement means immigrants living in California illegally would be eligible for California's Medicaid program, the joint state and federal health insurance program for the poor and disabled.

Why isn't California deporting these illegals (non-citizens)? It is the law.

Veterans who fought and bled for their country are living in the streets and California is spending billions of taxpayer money for illegals who are not even supoosed to be here.

Seven illegal aliens from Central American countries are suing the Department of Homeland Security because of "overcrowding" in Border Patrol facilities and "lack of access to legal representation".

According to the lawsuit, the illegal aliens want themselves, as well as all others in custody, to be released.

The attorneys in the case want a federal judge to place an injunction against Border Patrol. If the judge agrees, the federal agency would have to release everyone.

ARE THEY VACCINATED?​


Washington (CNN)

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed 5,200 adult immigrants in quarantine after being exposed to mumps or chicken pox, a dramatic jump from just a few months ago, the agency says.

ICE has recorded cases of either mumps or chicken pox in 39 immigrant detention centers nationwide, an ICE official tells CNN.

Of the 5,200 detainees in quarantine across those centers, around 4,200 are for exposure to mumps. Around 800 were exposed to chicken pox and 100 have been exposed to both.
