Hello Darth,
And we are supposed to believe you that Robert Mueller is respectable enough to do this, why?
You can't even bring yourself to use his actual name.
Besides. His reputation depends on being impartial. Why would he publicly jump into something political? That goes against his better nature. We can't depend on him for that. We need verified accountability.
You have typified the right in showing that if this really happened the way you suggest? If Trump rewrote the report, and Mueller said: "That's not what the report said," the right would not believe Mueller, would go right back to trashing him personally they way you always have.
Ya see how that works?
That's why I have been telling you all along that if you disrespect somebody's name, then you lose credibility. It becomes baseless bias. It's biased intent. No question of it.
When we disrespect others, we are really disrespecting ourselves.
We should hold ourselves higher than that.
We should take a position; and take it for a good reason. If anybody questions that position, then you have your good reason. You don't need anything more.
You don't have to put down others. You don't have to suggest that anything but your good reason is needed.
You just have to make sure you have a strong good reason.
Everything else is fog.
You don't have a good reason, so you're throwing up fog. 'Mullet.' What's THAT? A fish? No. It's fog. It will drift off in time. A good reason stands.
We've got a good reason. The President works for us. We need to see the report, not a doctored up version.
Republicans feeding on RINO's who devolve into leftville.republicans feeding on republicans. I love it
Jarod, If the Democrats have no confidence in the report as released after WH using their executive privilege, They could subpoena Mueller to prove there was no political interference in the probe.

Get it right, diapers.![]()
When was Obama the subject of such an investigation? What reports did he insist on redacting before releasing because of Executive Privilege?

Mullet is an oily baitfish that is used to catch Red Drum, Bluefish and some other saltwater species.
Trump simply cannot rewrite the report. If he tried all hell would break loose because too many people know what’s in it. Again, Rosenstein knows what’s in it and Rosenstein is lucky to still have a job because he came close to wearing a wire to entrap Trump to try and invoke the 25th amendment on him.
Btw, since you are calling for higher standards, what’s you’re take on that? Never in the history of the country has someone or some people conspired to *entrap* a duly election president by wearing a wire around him.
What are your thoughts on that?
At any rate:
“After reviewing the Special Counsel’s final report on these issues; consulting with Department officials, including the Office of Legal Counsel; and applying the principles of federal prosecution that guide our charging decisions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel’s investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense,” [Barr]
How many people have seen Mullet’s report just in that paragraph? I would guess at least ten or twelve and that’s likely conservative. The number is probably closer to twenty. And that’s not counting people on Mullet’s team. And every one of them will remain quiet if/when Trump takes white-out to the parts of Mullet’s report that says ‘guilty’?
I actually think you’re smarter than that. Do yourself a favor and don’t climb out on that limb.
Hello Darth,
That's a good quote. I've seen that quote. It does not appear that Trump fans have actually seen it. They and Trump have looked at it, but they have not seen it. They look at it and see something else. They think it says no evidence. I look at it and see that it says the evidence is not sufficient.
So when Trump and his fans say no evidence it lets me know they don't want to see the truth. Just like you don't want to see the truth that the man's name is Mueller.
You don't have a good reason for allowing the President to rewrite the report.
No problem. Support whatever kind of lies you wish.
The man we elected President has a history of being a racist, and con man, and a cheat. That is well documented. Bannon said he's going down on financial.
The Mueller Report may not be it, and I understand why Trump wants to rewrite it. He always has to control the message about him. His true nature must never be revealed; according to him.
This may not be it, but we are not done yet.
When it is it, we won't have to convince you. Because the numbers won't lie.
I bet he goes down on dirty money and/or tax evasion.
Let the investigations continue!
We already know he and the family conspired to cheat the IRS by low-balling the value of their properties. I hope this is what brings him down. Nothing would pain him more than to be hit in the wallet because money is his god.

You don’t have much money, do you?Hello christiefan915,
Without money, Trump is nothing. Money is his being. Nothing else matters to him.
Trump is as deep as a one sheet stack of paper.
Go ahead, climb out on that limb lol.
I re-read the paragraph just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It clearly states that it actually wasn’t *just* Barr’s reading of the Mullet report that was in the summary. So basically you’re relying on a cadre of actors—all signing off on the same thing in order to support your conspiracy theory; namely, a cover-up of the Mullet report.
But you went ahead and shifted the goal posts [tax evasion blah-blah-blah] in the event your conspiracy falls by the wayside.
Which is practically a slam dunk.
So, you’re ok with Rosenstein wearing a wire in order to entrap Trump and having him removed from office under the 25th Amendment?
It doesn't exonerate him from wearing his socks two days in a row but it does say that there is "insufficient evidence to establish that the president committed that offense."So Mueller concluded his work and presented it:
Mr. Mueller’s team drew no conclusions about whether Mr. Trump illegally obstructed justice,
Mr. Barr said, The attorney general and his deputy, Rod J. Rosenstein, determined that the
special counsel’s investigators had insufficient evidence to establish that the president committed that offense.
He cautioned, however, that Mr. Mueller’s report states that “while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime,
it also does not exonerate him”
SO THEY ARE LEAVING OUT HE'S A LIAR? A CRIMINAL? A TRAITOR? A WIFE BEATER? A DRUG ADDICT?
THEY WOULD NOT SAY "BUT HE IS A VERRY VERRY BAD MAN?"
Therefore they are COVERING UP FOR THE PRESIDENT UNTIL WE READ THAT MUELLER CONCLUDED HE WAS A CRIMINAL NOT DESERVING TO BE PRESIDENT?
HEADLINES:
MUELLER FAILED TO ALERT THE WORLD THAT TRUMP IS A CRIMINAL NOT DESERVING TO BE PRESIDENT!
So what will happen to Mueller when we find out he neglected to warn us?
Total horse mierda.Hello Darth,
Hey, congratulations for using Rosenstein's actual name. That is an improvement.
Am I OK with him wearing a wire to make sure the President is following the law? Yes. Here's why. The President is not a private individual. He is a public official. The Chief executive has nobody directly over him that he reports to. How to we ensure that he is not overstepping his authority? How do we ensure that he is not above the law? We must have oversight. If the FBI or Justice department suspects that the President may be acting illegally, I WANT them to check up on him. I want every President to know that they are not above the law. They answer to us. A President works for us. We, The People. There has to be oversight.
If nobody is allowed to gather evidence, the 25th Amendment is useless. We cannot allow any individual to have absolute power.
What you call goal post shifting? No. I don't see that. What I see is a process of verifying that our President is operating within the law. If he isn't, we need to know about it and bring him to Justice. If he has done nothing wrong then he has nothing to worry about.
None of these measures would have brought Obama down. He was clean. The acid test is would I support these measure being used against any President, no matter what political party. I would. If there is no there there then a President has nothing to worry about.
If Trump is clean he has nothing to worry about.
The more he squawks about too much oversight? That makes me think he's dirty.
Trump is a total narcissist. He took the worst job he could imagine. First of all, he is not used to working for other people, does not do well in that capacity. Now he took on a job which gives a narcissist enough rope to hang himself. That appears to be what is happening.
It doesn't matter whether I am OK with the way it is going down. The pressure on Trump is not going to let up. And it shouldn't.
It's not a witch hunt. It is the way our nation is designed. It is our system of checks and balances.
Thank you, founders.
