He did not surrender the $10,000 as a condition of a plea agreement, he paid the $10,000 to a bondsman, the bondsmans payment Is the $10,000 he “surrendered”. That was a contractual agreement not a condition of a plea.
 
All the evidence remains behind. Locked up. It was the hoax we all saw months ago with all the evidence we saw.
The charges were simply dropped. His own lawyer carefully crafted her statement, never saying he was innocent.

Because we wanted an investigation to see who was lying, and who wasn't? Smollett had his investigation. The grand jury chose to indict him on 16 counts of "disorderly conduct." Then the DA dismissed the charges. Not the same. There was no grand jury looking closely at Kavanaugh, was there?
 
The only reason I can see that the case would be sealed is if there is an ongoing internal affairs investigation.
