The very reason that our (wink, wink) free market healthcare is so called "inefficient" is due to the regulations placed forth by BIG BROTHER..... and the supposed FREE HEALTHCARE provided by the taxpayer in the form of Medicare and Medicaid that drives the cost up for everyone. Ever wonder why a hospital bed cost about 5 grand a day? Because the taxpayers on the hook for that inflated cost. Ever wonder why Insurance cost so much? Because Big Brother has taken lobby monies in order to establish border monopolies that drive the cost up for everyone because there is no FREE MARKET...its illegal for insurance companies to sell at a cheaper rate because Big Brother has made it illegal......there is no chance for comparative shopping.
With all that "inefficiency"...….THE US HEALTHCARE system has the best Doctors, the best modern Technologies (that would not exist if not for free market R&D)….and the best, the fastest Emergency networks on the Planet.

How does the US healthcare system rank worldwide in relation to QUALITY of healthcare? Reality: The US is above the world average in "quality" of medical care.
