Violating the terms of a treaty or any other contract voids the treaty or contract. President Trump and America did not violate the terms of the INF treaty. The Russian Federation violated those terms and they, not President Trump restarted the cold war.

what you say is correct but the problem is did we do our due diligence in attempting to get the Russians in compliance. given trumps track record doing the due diligence was unlikely and he was likely just pandering to his base.
