Flynn plead guilty after they threatened his son with prosecution.
Is there any degree of prosecutorial misconduct you won’t excuse?
His son was guilty too, dear heart.

Seriously. You don’t start an investigation just to ‘check up on someone’. They do that in places like Russia.
*Legitimate* criminal investigations start with an alleged crime. As I’ve pointed out a hundred times, collusion is not a crime.
Anyone who claims otherwise can provide the relevant statute out of the US Code—or concede the point that collusion is not a crime.
I’ll wait right here.
PoliTalker:You'll have to pardon me. I think you may be caught in a circular thinking loop which is clouding overall perception of the situation. 'Collusion' is not even in Mueller's authorization. I happen to agree with a large segment of the nation which believes that Trump brought this on himself by firing James Comey. When I said 'checking up' I meant that the American people have a right to know that their President is operating within the law. The firing of James Comey very much had the appearance of operating outside the law; going above his pay grade, exceeding his executive power, obstruction of justice, which is a very big crime. High crime. Serious crime which deserves to be investigated thoroughly.
Now you can call this a witch burger or a witch birther or whatever you want. It comes as no big surprise that the President's supporters want to look the other way and give him a big fat free pass on this, but the rest of us are here to tell you that's not going to fly. The American people support the Mueller investigation, and we just voted to keep it going. You can protest all you want, you're not going to convince anybody who supports the Mueller investigation to change their minds. What all these protestations smack of is people trying to convince themselves. Because deep down inside? Somewhere down in there, we all know it's there, there is this little suppressed element of doubt. Are the liberals right on this one? Ouuu. Don't go there. Must never let that out. Cannot even voice such a thing.
That's OK.
We'll voice it for you.
And as this thing develops, and our words linger in your mind, that little element of doubt is going to grow.
And grow, and grow, and grow, until it can't be ignored. Whatcha gonna do with it?
Not my problem. I love my life. I don't have anything eating away at my insides. I listen to all calm voices and I hear what people say. Then I make up my own mind, based on logic. That's why I'm liberal. Because it just makes sense. Without any bias, liberalism is what makes the most sense for all the people. Conservatism only seems to support the advantaged. That makes no sense. Because everyone is not advantaged, and our nation is supposed to promote the general welfare, not simply the welfare of the advantaged. None of our founding documents say that only the hard working should be rewarded. That's just conservatism. I have questioned it, and found it to be lacking in fulfillment of the purpose of our nation. That's why I am liberal. And that's why I support holding the President accountable to the Constitution.
you are talking like a Communist. Consider the phrase "pursuit of happiness" and implied work ethicNone of our founding documents say that only the hard working should be rewarded.

If it quacks, it’s a duck, Frankie.
I guess no one could find a federal statute relative to collusion. Though one poster moved the goalpost to ‘conspiracy’. Guess what? Even ‘conspiracy to collude’ is not a crime BECAUSE COLLUSION ISN’T A CRIME. Talking to Russians isn’t a crime. Talking to Russians during a campaign? Nope, not a crime either. Talking to Russians about an election? Nope, not a crime. Talking to Lithuanians about an election? I think you get the idea by now.
These bastards set Flynn up with a laughably absurd ‘Logan Act’ violation just so they could snare him for lying in an interview. Which he may or not have done—depending on who you talk to. Google the Logan Act and get back with me Frankie. Tell me when the last time someone was charged with a Logan Act violation. Why charge Flynn with it, all of a sudden?
Then try and convince me [or yourself] that this charade isn’t a Witch Hunt.
I wouldn't even try to convince you that it is not a witch hunt...because you are close minded about it.
I don't have to convince myself, because I know it is not a witch hunt. It is an investigation...authorized by the DOJ...and it is producing all sorts of indictments.
My guess is if Mueller concludes there was NO collusion or any other misconduct of the Trump campaign...you will consider it a FAIR investigation.
The odds of Mullet coming up with collusion are slim.
The odds are much better that collusion was a pretext used to start an open-ended investigation into anything and everything Trump has ever been involved in. Stormy lol?
What’s the term for that, Frankie?
The odds of Mueller coming up with lots of indictments are 100%.
The investigation was started for good and compelling reasons, Darth. They were authorized by the DOJ...a department of the Executive Branch.
Ummm...the term is, "Investigations are often started for good and compelling reasons."
I'm sure you agree with that when the investigations are investigating someone other than your Dear Leader.
TRUMP SUPPORTERS:

The mere fact a prosecutor that’s handed effectively unlimited resources can produce indictments doesn’t mean much, in of itself. Mullet would be the laughing-stock of the legal establishment if he didn’t lol.
There’s quantity and there’s quality, Frankie.
In terms of the collusion, Mullet is headed for a D-minus unless he pulls the collusion rabbit out of his hat in the 11th hour. The only thing related to Russia and the election are the Russian indictments and those are considered a joke by everyone outside of The Resistance. In fact, the one Russian that hired a US firm to defend themselves has Mullet stymied in court.
Presently, Mullet is after low-hanging fruit in Corsi and Roger Stone. If you see a basis for optimism in Mullet going after those two jokers [even many righties don’t take them seriously] you are determined to be optimistic about things lol.
Mueller has produced guilty pleas and convictions.
As I said...the chances of Mueller producing convictions and guilty pleas...is 100%.
I understand that is your hope and guess.
You may be right.
You may be dead wrong.
We'll see.
Trump is as dirty as a pig sty. I am hoping Mueller will be able to establish that in a more concrete way. I do not want to see Trump impeached...nor do I want to see Trump sent to prison. What I want is for Trump no longer to be president after January 20, 2021. He is a disgrace to this nation...and to humanity.
So are you, Darth...and so are the rest of his supporters.

PoliTalker:
you seriously need to tighten up your writing, and use facts. Article 2 gives the Executive full power to fire FBI political appointees.
Rosenstein wrote a letter of reasons to Trump as to why Comey should be fired.
you are talking like a Communist. Consider the phrase "pursuit of happiness" and implied work ethic
How about we hold Mullet accountable to the Constitution lol.
The office of the President is firmly grounded in the Constitution—SP’s not so much. Mullet hasn’t even been appointed by the Senate and is only authorized to work under an appointed principle. That’s why The Resistance feels threatened by Whitaker: Mullet now has to report to Whitaker instead of their man Rosenstein.
And if Mullet plans on charging Trump with obstruction he has a real problem in Rosenstein—because Rosenstein wrote the memo to Trump [!!!!]*recommending*[!!!] that Comey be fired for his obvious dereliction in handling the Clinton email ‘matter’.
Then Rosenstein appoints Mueller to investigate Trump for obstruction? Really lol? What is this? A Monty Python skit?
The conflict of interest is so glaring that some serious pundits [former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy for one] thinks it’s evidence that Mullet is NOT interested in an obstruction charge against Trump. I’m inclined to agree because any such charge would be easily challenged under Article 2, anyway.
At any rate, forget Trump for a minute. What do you think about the conflict of interest mentioned above? Why should it be allowed to stand?
they don't wanna know. We've seen the fake FISAs the spys thrown at the Trump camapiagn and the ridiculous Carter Page surveillance ( he who had just worked with the FBI)The odds of Mullet coming up with collusion are slim.

Take that and add in their TDS -what do you get? = complete denial and Trump hating. No wonder they support Mueller!
hilariously wrong. If anyone was colluding with da Rusians it was Hillary's Steele dossieryou sound quite desperate, beating the bushes for something, ANYTHING that would make Don's obvious collusion with Putin/Russia to obtain dirt on Hillary just go away........and, make tons of bank records/days of testimony from his cronies somehow disappear
keep in mind Mueller has only revealed a very, very small fraction of his case, as he said he would. there are most likely dozens of sealed indictments filed by the Grand Jury you nor I have learned about
your daddy's fucked annasshole, live with it
