Texas man explodes with rage at Confederate monument protestors

as well as broke, poor, with little to no future.........sure. great image of being an american LOL

me? no, I'm simply going off of your own slave master minded statements of what you think the forced union of the south has done.

Well, you shouldn't admire a nation that would have enabled you to be a slave master. You reap what you sow.

Oh, the mindset was quite universal. The only obstacle was the material means to achieve it.

all the stories about some southerners risking their lives to help slaves escape, or those that had 'slaves' but treated them as freed people share croppers must have been fake news. who'd have thunk it went that far back

Those people were a small minority, and not representative of the prevailing culture. I guess the best you can do is pretend that you would have been an outlier.

1. you said the mindset was universal........now you admit to a small minority.
2. you accuse me of being the same mindset, even though I was born and raised in the north, so you try to dig your way out of the hole by claiming i'm pretending to be the outlier.

we all can see how badly you tried to lie with your BS assumptions......but keep it up. it's somewhat entertaining.

Yes, it was absolutely universal. The small miniscule amount of exceptions do not change that, whatsoever. When the Church was universal throughout Christendom, there were still heretics. If you are going to embrace the CSA as you do, you must embrace it as it was, and not as you wish it to be.

Dude, Virtue signalling that hard has to be hard work.

Yeah, i know, current events are so hard to keep up with right?

For fuck sake, the Civil War ended in 1865? I think it might be time for you to move on.

Some people still fly CSA flags, and think the cause was righteous. More so than wave the Nazi flag, in fact. Apparently, there is still room to debate slavery and secession.

is the racist sign clearly visible to the general public?

It is not a racist sign, it is a monument (round with columns) honoring the Texas regiments in the Civil War. It is on Interstate 10 and MLK on private property. The protesting couple rented a sign across the street to protest the display.

A Haunting Legacy of Racial Terror: The Thousands of Lynchings That Changed America

1018316866.jpg

On February 1, thousands of whites from across Texas gathered into the Paris town square to view Smith’s execution – although he had never been brought to trial.

Smith was put to death in the same manner as thousands of other African Americans, many of them freed slaves, who were publicly lynched between 1877 and 1950. He was stripped, beaten savagely and brought to the town square with his hands bound. In front of a crowd of about 10,000, including families with children, he was forced to climb onto a high platform and then tortured by the executioners for more than an hour. Finally, he was burned alive to the jubilant shouts of the mob, who immediately purchased his bones and organs, sold as souvenirs of the event.

Perhaps you can learn from the perspective of slaves on being a slave and 'nice' slave masters.

I recommend The Slave Narratives.

your hatred has blinded you to logic. there can be no other explanation. maybe that's a northerner thing.......lack of ability to use logic

are you lefties that full of hate that you find it 1)impossible to believe that there were abolitionists that were southerners and 2) that sometimes they might have to PRETEND to be slave masters to avoid acts of violence due to the KKK?

or are you all that fucking deluded in to thinking all of that was more fake news?

A life begins in the USA.

That person is automatically a citizen of the USA.

That's the Constitution.

Pretty simple concept.

Sorry, Poli. but it's not that simple. The parents should not be tourists nor in the employ of a foreign government. Beyond that, it gets a bit hazy.

And those monuments that you're defending are monuments to treason. Of course, as a Trump supporter, treason means nothing to you.
