The policy actually comes from Pres. Kennedy. Before that, anchor babies weren't a problem since they weren't recognized as citizens.
If they are on US soil they are under US jurisdiction.. and yes they can be deported, but there is NO such thing as "political jurisdiction"....

Inversion fallacy. It is YOU that doesn't understand the Constitution of the United States. It is YOU that is reading more into the 14th amendment than what is there.

Mexico has NO jurisdiction of any kind over anyone on US soil. Did you go to college?
Apparently Obama did with immigration and you kissed his nigger ass each step of the way.
Mexico has jurisdiction of any citizen of their country. That doesn't end when they 'visit' the United States. If we deport them, they can only be deported to Mexico.
Trump's days are numbered as president. Mueller will be wrapping up his investigation and he will be providing Congress a list of his crimes and the reasons to have him impeached very soon now. The House Of Reps will be under Democrat control in just about a week, and they will immediately push for an impeachment hearing soon after. This will put a hold on any further Donald Trump's tampering with the Constitution by executive action.

It doesn't take a law school to read and understand the Constitution and where it comes from, including each of its amendments.
