I remember when I realized the illegal voters thing was a lie. I was born and raised very, very conservative. I had heard millions of "them" people voted illegally every election and that is the only way democrats could ever get enough votes to win, for years and years, cause you know, everyone with any sense and character voted Republican. I heard that over and over my whole life. I truly believed it and I was not being paid. If you hear something often enough...Then one day I thought about he entire concept and realized it was a lie. There really isn't millions of illegal voters, cause if there really was and we couldn't catch them, we are too stupid to have a country anyway.

Awesome. Did it make you angry or disappointed that you were taught that as fact, or did you just figure maybe they were hoodwinked as well and didn't know any better?

Strzok coordinated a leak campaign with the DOJ and if they violated the Espionage Act in the process that’s kind of a big deal. And it’s a really big deal if the agenda was to keep the Russians in the news so as to adversely affect Trump and/or get an SP appointed.

Because the exact same cohort totally ignores the fact that the uncouth and willfully-ignorant swine named Trump disrespects the Presidency -- and by extension (even more so than Old Glory) -- our country almost every single day. Very good posting. I think religious 'racial' and political groups are much more segregated over there. Where I lived, the tories were regarded as rather worse than plague-bearing rat-fleas or poison lice, but we always trusted the electoral system.

It’s one thing to have an isolated text like the ‘insurance policy’ but when there are several that point in the same direction it becomes harder to accept that they are being misinterpreted. Throw in the fact Comey admitted to leaking because ‘he hoped’ it would lead to an SP and it sure as crap has the appearance of coordinated a set-up.

Throw in the fact the Mullet appointment was so bloody quick and done with scant justification. What was the alleged crime? Even Comey said Trump wasn’t under investigation at the time of his firing. Rosenstein had to re-write the EC to keep it going? Why not just exonerate Trump when the original EC was exhausted? I think we both know the answer to that.

The lefties think it’s a conspiracy theory. I won’t predict this thing will blow up but I’m more confident it will than I was even several months ago. And if it does, the political fallout will be considerable.

As for the 2nd and 4th psycho-pathology of Trump supporters (Prejudice and Intergroup contact), to put is simply, people who live in isolated areas with little to no contact with anyone who is significantly different than they are tend to have the largest levels of prejudice and bigotry. This would explain Trumps support in the northern rural Midwest. The further you are from Mexico, where the people have no interactions with Mexicans, the more likely they are to be bigoted towards Mexicans. Particularly if they don't know any.

The irony here is that more northern Trump supporters are greater supporters of building a wall on the Mexican border than Americans who actually live by the Mexican border. Which is completely irrational as what happens on the border has little to no affect on them.

This is probably the best clinically diagnostic sign of psycho-pathology of Trump supporters. Fear of a nearly non-existent problem via rationalization of their internalized fears, including xenophobia.

Oddly enough, these types of voters tend to be more conservative and more white.

For some reason, I have never seen Republican hollering that the mailman start checking the photo IDs of people who are sticking their absentee ballot in the mail box.


And that is exactly how I know this Republican obsession with voter IDs is not based on any genuine concern for our democracy - it is based on racism, voter suppression, and intended to give the GOP partisan advantage.

illegal entry is a big problem.
Almost all are unskilled workers. They depress wages. We have no idea who is coming here at times.
That's a security threat.

but their ballot is delivered to them by mail. Unless someone steals their mail -it's a given they are mailing back what was addressed to them. The recipient was already qualified as being an eligible voter.

Anyone can walk in off the street and claim to be someone else. without ID we have no way to verify that they are as they claim
