The NFL pushed the ban up another year to the 2019 season. The commissioner placed that ban because a lot of people quit going to the games and quit watching on TV, im one of them. I doubt ill ever go back.

I don’t care about it enough to quit watching but I know at least two people IRL that have. I have no idea how many fans the NFL has lost over it, but I doubt the number will be out-weighed by people becoming NFL fans *because* of the protest.

From a marketing standpoint the league has nothing to gain from it.
