Nah, worse than that even. I don't think Trump has proposed handing the press over to the government.

Do I think the NYT are assholes for publishing that crap? Of course. Do I think they should face government persecution over it? Of course not. Now if the article writer broke any laws, prosecute them. I don't blame Trump one bit for being pissed and lashing out, but he's obviously not a legal expert.

Obama was an alleged legal expert and he used Holder to go after Fox’s James Rosen.

If Trump did that—well, I don’t even want to think about it.
 
I am a sort of a businessman (I survive) and I observe business. The real people withheld engaging in commerce while the worthless hybrid was doing his treasons. Real people consciously abstained from contributing to the economy and feeding the deepstate beast. When Trump showed up and began sticking it to the damned; real people began gearing up to resume normal commerce. When Trump won, the real people did what real people do naturally. When the deepstate is removed and DC is liberated and deepstate governmental oppression is subdued; I think it will begin the final global false prosperity before judgement. It is good and everything is right on schedule.
