The first link you gave me, The Seattle Times, did not have that in the title, nor was it mentioned anywhere in the story.

I had asked you which part of that story contained the proposal to meet with the players. None of it did. Your response was to post links to other sources which did report on a proposed meeting. My bad for not reading your additional links. I'm sorry.

love your patriotism.. "chumminess" is not what it's about. It's about our common heritage. all races

I don't dismiss the players concerns. But I don't want ( what I think) is a valued ceremony obscured
for a political agenda by anyone - black or white.

Like I said. find another venue. it isn't hard to do, and doing this is really not helping blacks.
It's just increases the background noise because of the controversial kneeling

You & I have extraordinarily different ideas of what constitutes "patriotism."

Of course you dismiss their concerns. And you really need to get over it, snowflake. I still can't believe that people's sensibilities are so delicate that seeing a player kneel in peaceful protest causes them "outrage" and "ruins the game" for them.

And here is where I question the sincerity, because most didn't care at all when Trump implied that he didn't like brave veterans who were captured in war.

Absolutely correct about Obama.

It annoys me that they criticize the kneelers over the anthem, but gave trump a pass about his nasty comments regarding vets (McCain, Kizr Khan.)

IMO it's more patriotic to support those people than to throw a hissy fit over a symbol.

And before you excuse him and them, just know that I couldn’t get away wearing a shirt demeaning Muslims because of what a few Muslims are doing.

Put the anthem at the end of the game and you would be scratching your ass running out the stadium with the vast majority of everybody else.

Most college teams play the anthem BEFORE their players take the field.

You talk that dumb shit about "us all being in this together" while you support THE most divisive administration in American history.
