We never been at war with Russia or the USSR for that matter -- we had that little Cuban missle crisis, but that was years ago..there was also Russia's uncanny knack for shooting down passenger planes like the Korean flight that killed a sitting US congressman in 1983, ooops ....and then more recently, when Russia hacked a US power grid, but I am sure it was done as some type of high school antic, like stealing the other team's mascot -- all just good natured fun.

Now what I would ask is --- if that was a place like Iran, Nigeria or Egypt who did those things -- would we be so forgiving?
