The US pays 22%, no more, and the commitments agreed upon years ago had a something like a twenty five year goal, the Europeans have been increasing their defense allocations

Germany buying gas from Russia has no bearing on NATO, it is a mutual defense compact, not a trade agreement, as Germany's leader said, she remembers Soviet dominance of East Germany

And the point you are missing or avoiding is why is Trump going out of his way to make enemies of the US's historical allies while kissing up to autocrats who have been antagonistic toward the US?

Once again you illustrate what a low information liberal you are; it isn't JUSY funding that the US pays the LIONS sgare of, but also assets NATO would need to fulfill its mission whose costs the US bears in entirety. But then, America hating liberals aren't interested in in facts or reality, they just want to bitch about Trump. Obama made the same claims as Trump; but that didn't seem to upset lying leftists.

It illustrated that it has already happened. Not one of the 63,000,000 deplorables who voted for the orange baboon would be deemed worthy of sharing oxygen in a civilized nation. If we were ever that, we're certainly not any more. We have too many greedy oligarchs, religious crazies, vile crackers, and Republicans-in-general to be worthy of respect, either globally or by our own decent people.
