Mueller has nothing on collusion, so he throws out this latest distraction to justify his failure to find any collusion.

Why on Earth would an opioid addled uneducated trumpster think they have any knowledge at all about what Mueller has. You are silly.

They don't know Jack Shit about what Mueller has, and it's driving them Bat Shit Crazy.

Good Job Robert Mueller.

Someone being CHARGED with a CRIME ... isn't a DISTRACTION.

If you don't believe that ... just ask Paul Manafort

Donald Trump Is Getting Away With the Biggest Scandal in American History

At the heart of the Russia scandal is the most fundamental issue for a democracy: the sanctity of elections.”

.........................

In this ongoing fight, it is Trump and his bumper stickers versus a media presenting a wide variety of disparate disclosures that come and go quickly in a hyperchaotic information ecosystem, often absent full context. No wonder then that a recent poll found that 59 percent of Americans said Mueller has uncovered no crimes. In fact, he has secured 17 criminal indictments and obtained five guilty pleas. Accurate news reporting alone does not always carry the day.

The Russia scandal is the most important scandal in the history of the United States. President Andrew Johnson was impeached (but not convicted) because he violated an act of Congress to remove a secretary of war. In the Teapot Dome scandal, the secretary of the interior in Warren Harding’s administration leased federal lands at low rates to private oil companies, presumably in return for bribes. In Watergate, a president and his aides engaged in political skulduggery against political foes. President Bill Clinton lied about a sexual affair he had with a subordinate in the White House. All these scandals raised serious questions about integrity in government. But at the heart of the Russia scandal is the most fundamental issue for a democracy: the sanctity of elections.

An overseas enemy struck at the core of the republic—and it succeeded. Trump and his minions helped and encouraged this attack by engaging in secret contacts with Moscow and publicly insisting no such assault was happening. This is far bigger than a bribe, a break-in, or a blow job. And, worse, the United States remains vulnerable to such a strike.

Yet the full impact of this scandal does not resonate in the daily coverage and discourse. In many ways, the media presents the Russia scandal mostly as a political threat to Trump, not as a serious threat to the nation. And many Americans, thanks to Trump and his allies, view it as a charade. All this shows how easy it is for disinformation and demagoguery to distort reality. That is a tragedy for the United States. For Trump—and Putin—that is victory.

That is the dumbest most false narrative on the planet; Trump only beat Hillary because they cheated. Mother Jones??? No wonder you're such a low information moron. :rofl2:

I would say that when this is over and this is what we always knew it to be, a NOTHING BURGER, you should be embarrassed. But you're too stupid to even comprehend why.

Translation for this massive pile of bovine bile:

Why do you say stupid shit like that? You have no idea, none, zero, nada idea what Mueller has, yet you say like you know that he has nothing. And witness tampering is very serious.

Paul Manafort was under surveillance by the FISA court before, during, and after his six months as Donald Trump’s campaign chairman. That wasn’t because President Obama both hated Donald Trump and somehow knew that Manafort would sign onto the Trump campaign. It’s because there are few people in the nation more deserving of investigation than Paul Manafort.

That Manafort was under investigation seems completely reasonable, considering:
Manafort met with Russian officials in 2005 and offered to help Vladimir Putin influence US politics to benefit Russia.

Manafort helped to organize anti-Nato, anti-America “protests” in Ukraine that including attacks on US marines. These funded protests served as an excuse to move Ukraine away from the west and provided Vladimir Putin a reason to invade Crimea.

He failed to register as a foreign agent until June of 2017, despite years of taking money from pro-Russian factions in Ukraine and using it in an attempt to influence US lawmakers.
He took as much as $20 million in off the books funding from pro-Russian forces, money that was funneled through Cyprus banks and connected to Trump associate Felix Sater.
He’s under investigation in Ukraine for work for pro-Russian forces that seemed to continue even after Manafort returned to the United States and for his involvement in an ongoing corruption case.

He not only got a loan that represented just under the legal limit from a private bank, he failed to pay taxes on at least one of his loans.

He not only represented Russian puppet Viktor Yanukovych in Ukraine, but also Philippine kleptocrat Ferdinand Marcos, Congolese dictator Mobutu Sese Seko, and Angolan guerilla leader Jonas Savimbi—earning Manafort the reputation as the go-to lobbyist for dictators.

I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Trump pardons Manafort if he's convicted.

Neither would I ... and for the rest of my life, I wouldn't have to pay any attention to a Republican Preaching ever again about the Rule of Law and Law and Order.
