Hail Broccoli Obama

I never for one second thought Obama had anything other than what was best for the country at heart. Trump...well no.

I agree. He definitely made mistakes but overall I felt he was doing the best he could for everyone.

bingo that. I didnt vote for him second time because I felt he didnt put enough that caused the recession in prison.

He didn't do a damn thing for those that supported him. Blacks overwhelmingly voted for him twice and yet their average IQ is still 85, their bastard birth rate is going up, they fall behind everyone else in being unemployed, 1 in every 3 1/2 are on food stamps, and the incarceration rate is horrendous.

Is that the best he can do or is it the best blacks can do?

Well get over it. He’s gone and he’s not coming back. New ideas need to be adopted by Democrats and old stale ones a abandoned as Hillary proved. That is unless the party wants four more years of Trump? They better start practicing what they preach about inclusiveness and find someone with at modicum of charisma that can actually compete and start communicating messages that resonate with voters.

What I’m really seeing is Democrats sitting on their asses in smug self assurance that Trump will implode or that America couldn’t possibly vote for Trump a second time.

This smug and conceited self assurance in unwarranted and if Democrats don’t get their shit together they will be in for a rude awakening in 2020. 2018 probably won’t go all they’re way either.

I AM GROOT

Well sure Obama was popular but that was then and this is now. Democrats are misreading the reasons of Trumps populist anti trade, anti minorities and anti immigrant message and if Democrats think left wing social democrat economic populism is the counter to Trumps form of Populism Trump will win in a landslide in 2020.

When the history is written, this won't even be close. Obama will be a top 20 President, and Trump will likely be at the bottom.

I think Obama had his mistakes and learning curve, but he always kept a cool head & was a steady leader throughout his admin. When there was a crisis, and Americans look to their President, he was articulate, thoughtful & calm.

Trump is the opposite. Always emotional & reactive, impulsive, contradicting himself, on the attack & completely unpredictable. Really, a lunatic by comparison.
I agree with you on Obama but if you and the majority of Democrats continue to believe that about Trump you’ll not only lose in 2020 you’ll lose big and be scratching your head why that happened.

I will give Obama top marks for being a consummate politician. However when it comes to domestic economic issues I give Trump higher marks. Trump beats Obama when it comes to dealing with NK. Both presidents tie for being divisive and not trying to bring people together. Obama wins on diplomacy. And finally both tie when it comes to hiring the wrong people for the top jobs. So my overall rating is basically a tie with a slight edge to Obama.
