How ridiculous. I have an actual marriage; two ladies or two gents also having one in no way threatens or downgrades mine, and vice versa. You're going to have to come up with a better excuse than that.

And none of that says anything like what you claimed it says. Yhe only criterion for being a sheep or a goat was how they treated others. There's no mention of faith or belief.

That is the literal meaning of the actual words -- those who are "saved" will be the ones who "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’" (Interestingly, things that many RW Xtians do NOT do nor do they want them done for the fellow citizens.) This verse says nothing about belief; it mentions only these works done in Christ's name.

"but the righteous to eternal life" = those who cared for the thirst, the hungry, the naked, the sick, the imprisoned. Again, nothing at all about belief, but about works (based on the belief that doing these things is the same as doing them for Christ).

Polygyny was the accepted practice from OT times until well into the Christian era. It was frowned upon by the Germanic peoples of Northern Europe, so the Church abandoned the practice the better to expand there. It was still practised by the Jews for a few centuries after that.

If it was accepted practice, why did Genesis highlight it as a major contributing factor to the flood?
