when is the last time he did work for his Senate office?
Now it's doubtful he'll be available for a Pompeo clearing committee.

Mccain is a selfish bastard who only tweets #NeverTrump screed.
He should have resigned for health aspects..I doubt he comes back for any Senatorial duties.

Let someone else be appointed who can do their duty

McCain is gravely ill.. His peers are not busting his chops, why are you?

Remember the speech he made right after the healthcare vote? He was brilliant.. truly brilliant.
 
If he’s capable, I suspect he will retire after November, when is vote won’t be so important.
 
I’m only hoping that Kennedy and Ginsberg will put off retirement until late 2020.

because he can't do his duty ..he couldn't even vote on

has he even shown up in DC this year?. Go home and die in peace, but let the work of the Senate be done by a physically capable Senator
 
Yeah, I don't understand the point of holding onto a legislative seat when you are physically incapable of doing the job.

I personally have felt that McCain should have stepped-down ever since he failed to make a speedy recovery from his cancer. Never been a fan of legislators hanging onto their seats into extremely old age unless they can physically justify it.
 
A man in McCain’s position is most likely in denial, and believes he will be back.
 
In my father’s last days I had to go to his office and tell everyone about the reality that he was not coming back. He was an engineer, many of his clients were being patient because they figured he would come back and get their projects done.
