Irony is stockpiling guns in case the govt comes for them but then the govt will use soldiers and we support our military cause patriotism.

Must confuse the hell out of Conservative/Republican gun owners who are planning for the day they will fire on those soldiers they so ardently accuse Liberals of hating.

"This silent majority has been locked out of the gun control debate, on the one hand by gun control advocates who paint gun owners in broad brushstrokes, and on the other by the more extreme elements within the NRA."

Just a question. Did you not say some time ago you took some firearm instruction? If so, chances are that the instructor was an NRA Certified Instructor.
I'm sure safety and identification were emphasized throughout the course. Why would you despise the NRA?
