So, how do you think the school walkout helped? No ban list, accept for Annie

Shouldn't students be in the classroom learning?

The democrats here on JPP are a good example of what happens when you turn your back on the education system.

The majority of students were in class....
That being said, it proved that most of the students who did walk out really had no idea why they were out there.
There were many lovely tributes that day, though.... just not during the 10 AM women's march mandate...
Most of the democrats "speaking out here" haven't been near a school in years...

By going along with this charade, school administrators sent a signal that they don't want the teachers to be armed. Why don't they want to protect the students?

"Shouldn't students be in the classroom learning?" QT #1
You agree with them on it. Students should be in the classroom learning, not dying.

The students in this case have a valid point, and seem to be taking a constructive approach with it.
Mass-murder at school is becoming too frequent to keep track of.

- Most of these students are too young to vote.
- All of them may be too young to buy a beer.

So these near-adult second class citizens are at the mercy of their parents, their school officials, their communities, and our legislators.

So far as I know, the students haven't posted a list of demands, as Martin Luther may have.

Instead they're calling attention to the need to address this issue.

As an honorably discharged United States military Vietnam era veteran, as a marksman, as an NRA life member, and as a licensed hunter, I say kudos to these fine young Americans.

Oh & btw,
have they not already advanced their cause?

Oh yeah, a half day off will make them stupid. You must have missed a lot of school.

didn't do anything, as I predicted. gun rights are here to stay, no matter the opinions of 15 year olds.

Those stupid walkouts accomplished nothing. I bet 80% or more of those little useful idiots couldn't even verbalize anything specific that they were asking for.

What walkout? This in vogue latest attack on the 2nd amendment has just about lost the ADD lefts two week attention span window. Don't ya know......today, its defend ANDY day? Thats the problem with social media...the fires burn out quickly as the rush is on to start a new blaze for the 15 minute window of fame.

"I think it helped the lib'rul posters here at JPP because it the closest they've come to a win since 2012..." PP #11
ah
Another Republican in denial (or ignorance) about the humiliating defeat Republicans suffered in Pennsylvania last Tuesday. Do you think this is 2012? Better check your 2018 calendar to make sure.

I'm positive nobody thought a single walk out was going to move mountains. It is a process as with all things.

Well, this is a mountain that doesn't need moving.

Those kids parents are paying taxes so their kids can get an education, not so they can play hippie drum circle protesters.

I think it helped the lib'rul posters here at JPP because it the closest they've come to a win since 2012.......

And even then, it's not a win; because the number of students who walked, when compared to the number who didn't, makes them inconsequential.

Except to the schools who have handed out suspensions, in one case paddling's, and other forms of disciplinary action

Kids get out of school for all kinds of reasons. 17 min is hardly going to destroy their education. Considering most of you on here consider schools a Liberal indoctrination center for kids then you should be happy they got a 17 min respite from it. ;)

That 17 minutes was Liberal indoctrination.

That 17 minutes could have been spent learning reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Your education brought you to Brietbart and Infowars. Did you miss too many days?

This march showed that the kids are still involved in helping solve the gun problem. It showed solidarity and commitment. It worked as designed.

Who's the dummy now?
