A tabloid does not mean the same thing in the UK as it does in the US, tabloid in this context refers to format rather than journalistic standards and the mirror is pro-immigration and center left, it is an award winning newspaper not some British version of the National Enquire:

The former England footballer Adam Johnson has been jailed for six years for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old schoolgirl in a “calculated, considered and carefully orchestrated” abuse of his celebrity status.

Johnson, 28, showed no emotion as he was imprisoned for kissing and sexually touching the teenage girl, whom prosecutors said he groomed in a “single-minded pursuit of his own sexual gratification”.
He pleaded guilty to one count of grooming .

I am sorry, you can't keep dismissing everything in such a perfunctory fashion. This story has been going on for some time now. The Mirror may be a tabloid but it is also left of centre. Anyway maybe you'll believe it in the Independent, BBC or Express. This has been going on in brother ham, Oxford, Rochdale and other towns as well. The common theme throughout is Pakistani men grooming young girls with drugs and alcohol to have sex with men for money.

A Charlotte man was convicted Monday of running a brutal prostitution ring that trafficked women up and down the East Coast and used violence to keep them under his control.

A federal jury in Charlotte deliberated for more than two hours before finding Shahid Hassan “Sharp” Muslim guilty of sex trafficking, kidnapping, producing child pornography and witness tampering.

The verdict followed a weeklong trial with testimony from five of the 12 women who were lured into Muslim’s prostitution ring and then threatened and beaten to stay.
