Trump agrees to meet Kim Jong-un by May

The notion that NK will wind down its nuclear defence program is white suprematist evangelical fantasy.
They have seen what happened to Iraq, Libya and Syria. So have we.

i dont think they will disarm. If we can get something reasonable then fine. If not then its fine as well. As Trump says "without the ability to walk away you can never get a good deal"

There is no meeting with NK set, its all a bunch of White House BS. No one there has a clue to whats happening.

I wouldn't call it kicking the can down the road, it's not like they ignored the situtation, and North Korea has launched more missiles during this Administration's reign than all the previous Presidents combined, it is, nor has ever been, an easy problem to solve

The can was kicked down the road by Presidents, from both parties, and landed in Trump’s lap.

And Trump was the only one with sufficient balls to call Little Rocket Man’s bluff.

very true. USA is blamed for the partition..if i had an ounce of empathy for lil Kim ( and I do not) i'd almost be able to see the USA as an existential threat to NK....nah..nevermind

Very good points. Why would he want to all of a sudden de-nuke when he's soooo close to his lifelong goal? I hope this all works out, but I sure don't trust him. I'm sure Trump knows all this, too and won't be bamboozled. We'll see.

If Trump successfully gets N. Korea to give up Nuclear weapons he deserves more than a Peace Prize.
