Obama was nothing more than the result of a bunch of idiots wanting a black person so much they were willing to take whatever came along. Even Joe Biden, his VP, indicated that when he said, "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy". There were blacks that ran prior to Obama. Appears to me as if Biden was saying none of them were articulate, bright, clean, and nice-looking.

He went around disgracing the U.S. on an apology tour. If you want to call that class, dignity, and intelligence. Do so. Intelligent people call it selling out and that is something Obama damn sure was good at doing.

As I said, Obama was an okay president...a decent, intelligent, dignified, classy person...all traits missing in the boor currently in the Oval Office.

I consider Libertarianism (and libertarianism)...to be unworthy political philosophies...although I listened respectfully when the head of the (rather small) Libertarian Party in my hometown attempted to induce me to change my run for township council from Independent candidate to Libertarian candidate. To make that more emphatic: I personally hold libertarian political philosophy to be more devoid of reason and logic than conservative political philosophy...and I have often described American conservative political philosophy to be a cancer growing on the American body politic.

That said...in order for civilization to survive...in order for humans to live together in relative peace and harmony...governments have to restrict personal freedom to some degree or we'd have nothing but chaos and anarchy.

For the most part, even libertarians recognize the need for this...and are arguing mostly about where to draw the line.

If you expect total personal freedom...okay. Go for it.

Try getting rid of the anger and contempt you show for so many, so often.

I didn't say I want it...I said it did not bother me as much as it seems to bother some of you. And I see "less privacy" as inevitable. If you don't fine. Fight it. People fought against using mechanical devises for transportation during the last century.
