Nothing I said is inaccurate or untruthful.

The information coming out suggests that obstruction is a big part of the investigation's focus right now. It's not my call, or something I'm personally "still on."

Since we’re into speculating, how’s this scenario?

Democrats succeed in impeaching Trump over an investigation that turned out to be over nothing: Trump in no way conspired with Russia in the election, but they get him on obstruction of justice. [I’m not sure ‘Justice’ would be the right word lol...obstructing the investigation]

Meanwhile, Trump’s economy is off the charts. All the indicators are up, unemployment is down, wages are up—-in short, voters haven’t seen an economy like this since the 90’s or 80’s under Reagan.

Yet, democrats impeach Trump in the midst of it all. How do you think voters will respond?

Honestly, it's a flawed scenario. Democrats can't impeach Trump right now, and won't be able to unless they win majorities in the midterms.

Personally, I don't think voters feel loyal to Trump for the economic gains. Approval ratings are not some sort of arbitrary #'s that can be easily dismissed, and Trump's are still bad, despite the economy. If Trump obstructed justice or tried to organize any kind of cover-up, people understand what that means in terms of ethics & corruption; I really don't think it would inspire any kind of backlash. I think most are intelligent enough to understand that a corrupt government is not an acceptable trade-off for temporary economic gain.

Democrats could gain enough congressional control in the midterms to bring impeachment charges if Mueller indicts Trump on obstructing an investigation—-an investigation that turned out to be pointless and a colossal waste of time and money. It’s entirely plausible that Trump in no way conspired with the Kremlin.

I think the political blowback would be considerable.
