Trump Drives Record Gun Sales

Yes, because every time I recall a RWNJ blaming the fear of Obama taking their weapons for a spike in gun sales, it was always concommitant to an article offered to gloat about a short term sales spike.

Am I wrong?

You are wrong. No “short term” sale spike under Obama. Sales were up the whole time he was in office. There were no major sales/bargains on guns or ammo during that time. As an avid gun buyer and shooter I speak from experience. I did buy two nice guns from an individual (something that a lot of the left want stopped) during the last year of Obama’s time in office. But since Trump has been in office gun sales have been down....a lot. From the OP article:

Donald Trump's pro-gun presidency has contributed to a slowdown in sales this year. American Outdoor Brands reported a nearly 40% decline — about $78 million — in net sales in its fiscal quarter ending July 31.

Nearly 40%. That’s a lot. Because gun owners and potential gun owners are at ease with Trump being in office as far as gun ownership and purchasing is concerned. So this year we got some significant sales/discounts on guns on Black Friday. I was able to purchase a new Ruger 10/22 for my son for a Christmas present at just $170. That’s $100 off retail price. That’s just one of the deals made available by a segment of business who has seen sales drop by nearly 40% and wanted to see a surge in the sale of their product. There were many other such bargains on guns out there leading to record sales on a single day. But the surge in sales on a single day can not be attributed to Mr. Trump the same way or for the same reason a surge in the overall gun industry was attributed to Mr. Obama.

Trump’s Victory Has Fearful Minorities Buying Up Guns

After Donald Trump's win, Yolanda Scott is upgrading the crowbar she keeps in her purse to a small-caliber pistol.
Scott, an African-American, is one of many minorities who have been flocking to gun stores to protect themselves, afraid Trump's victory will incite more hate crimes.
Minorities "feel that racists now feel like they can attack... just because the president is doing it," Earl Curtis, the African-American owner of Blue Ridge Arsenal in Chantilly, Virginia, told NBC News.

your hero Ronny Rayguns ENDED open carry laws in California when blacks started open carrying

there will be more minorities than whites soon

many will be armed

what will the racists do
