Bernie was a better candidate than Hillary because he had better policy positions, and he wasn't corrupt. Full stop. If you can meet that minimum threshold, you have my support -- until someone better comes along. Hillary's political empire was built on shady alliances and monetary entanglements. Her policy positions were Milquetoast at best, or were right-of-center at worst. That's a large part of the reason why she lost, and if you don't smarten the fuck up, you'll pick another loser in 2020.

Against his wife, if I'm not mistaken. And this wasn't an issue during the election. My judgement is based on the available information. If either are guilty of financial shenanigans, they'll pay the piper.

From what I understand of the charges, we're not talking a quid-pro-quo or backroom dealing or anything relating to politics.

The Democratic party is a centrist party, with some progressive polices. Hillary was definitely not a liberal, didn't pretend to be a liberal (until she ran against Sanders), and sided with conservatives on 70% of issues prior to like 2011.

Why didn't Hillary run as herself in the last election, rather than trying to be Bernie-lite? If she is right, and Bernie is wrong, why did she move in Bernie's direction on all her policies? Bernie didn't move towards hers.

and then he refused to help raise money for any other Democratic candidate for any office anywhere.


Hilary brought her money in and shared it with all candidates and reanimated the donation process so states could get donnations from her top donnors
