Bernie's platform was unrealistic, albeit with some good ideas about how to fund his fantasies. Of course, Congress is a logjam, so nothing he proposed would have gotten anywhere.

But...we would have regained the Senate in a strong way, and maybe even the House. At the very least, the SC would look very different.
 
I definitely think we're seeing a generation gap here. The baby boomers grew up with the political machines and the party's were all powerful. The two party's aren't nearly as powerful today and it shows with the millennials who while they may be liberal or conservative are far less likely to call themselves Democrats or Republicans.

So when faced with the "be a party member or f you" option will choose f you.

As to your number three look how many democrats (on this board) point to the stock market as evidence of Obama's success. You don't get much more about money than that and to complain about Wall St and business yet cheer the market tripling? Not that they are mutually exclusive but isn't there some contradiction there?

1) I agree Trump is bad. But 99% of what you just typed about him can also be said about Hillary.
2) Gore is a liar. While the earth definitely warmed, Gore created a fear mongering campaign designed to make him money from his investments in alternatives. Inconvenient truth was packed full of lies. Even those that believe man is the primary cause of global warming said his predictions were severe outliers. Nothing he stated that would happen has.
3) Obama will. Ike, JFK, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Ford were all better. Nixon was better in every aspect with the exception of course of Watergate. Carter, Bush and Obama are at the bottom. Once Obamacare blows up what will he have accomplished? His foreign policy was horrid at best. His economic policy as well. I think Carter edges the other two and leaves it between Bush Jr and Obama as being the worst of our lifetimes. (unless Trump does something worse)

4) No, SCOTUS stopped Gore from trying to cherry pick districts to recount. Every recount that has been done since the election showed Bush still would have won. Gore did not have any class. He fought the results until he couldn't fight any more. Funny you say that about Trump, because it is Hillary and the Dems that keep saying that the election was rigged (by Russians!!! and Trump!!!). While she conceded, the Dems, HRC and the media have been working non-stop since the election to delegitimize it. Truly hysterical that you actually brought that up.
