Ha ha, called it! Kap scores million dollar book deal

"Emotion based?"

Or, it could just be that what I heard corroborates countless accounts over the years.

I wonder if Trump's arguments are as completely ignorant as yours are?

Or it could be that your first, last, and only thought/action involves the race card.

We'll go with that.

lol... way to avoid any type of real discussion. You use one bit of anecdotal evidence, one in which you are solely relying upon the word of ONE individual? Who was this ONE guy Thing? Link us up to his 100 stops info.

Yeah - that's actually the first time I heard that blacks are unfairly targeted by authority.

Oh, wait...no, it actually isn't. I've been hearing it & seeing it my whole life, and so have you. Why would you even deny that this exists? It makes you look silly & ignorant of reality.

Clearly you are determined to act like Desh. I know we continue 'hearing' about it. As I stated (and you ignored), I get that there are issues that we need to address. My question to you (that you ignored) is do you think Kap's position is accurate? Or is he spouting off the same nonsense the media has pushed on us these past few years?

But do go on pretending to be like Desh. Too ignorant to actually address what I am writing?

Is that your "go to" now? "You sound like desh!" Dude - I read desh's posts. I sound nothing like desh. It's a lame & lazy retort on your part.

I definitely think Kap's position is based in truth. I've said on here quite a few times that I think "oppression" is way too strong of a word to use for the circumstances that I see, but on this & some other issues, I'm willing to give members of the affected community the benefit of the doubt. It just isn't my experience in America, but I understand that it is for some, and by no means do I think so many are just fabricating what they have experienced.

Blacks are profiled in some areas, plain & simple. I don't see any reason to doubt so many accounts related to that.

Thing... some things to address, if you will.

1) Why is it the media reports nonstop on White Cop killing Black person, but not Black cop killing white, White killing white, Black killing Black etc...???

2) why does the media continue to push forth false narratives like 'hands up don't shoot' and 'he was killed for carrying skittles' (a case where the media also tried to pretend a Latino man was 'WHITE'

3) Are Black people more likely than white people to be killed by police?

4) Why do black lives matter only when they are taken by a white person?

This is not to say there aren't ANY injustices within our legal system, but the above narratives pushed by the media are a large part of what is escalating the racial tensions in the US.

- I don't know. Why are you asking me? It doesn't really pertain to Kap's protest, aside from the fact that it deals in general w/ the concept of "race."

2) why does the media continue to push forth false narratives like 'hands up don't shoot' and 'he was killed for carrying skittles' (a case where the media also tried to pretend a Latino man was 'WHITE'
- see answer to #1. It sounds like your beef is w/ the media, and not w/ Kap.

3) Are Black people more likely than white people to be killed by police?
- I don't know. As I said before, I believe that blacks tend to be profiled and unfairly targeted by law enforcement in some communities. I don't think that's really disputable.

4) Why do black lives matter only when they are taken by a white person?
- I think "black lives matter" has been incredibly - and stupidly - misinterpreted by so many. No one is saying ONLY black lives matter, or that they matter ONLY when taken by a white person. It's really just a plea from a community that is unfairly targeted...hey, we matter TOO. Not ONLY.

This is not to say there aren't ANY injustices within our legal system, but the above narratives pushed by the media are a large part of what is escalating the racial tensions in the US.

Answers above. Your beef is w/ the media.

Re read your posts. While the poor spelling and non stop vile behavior is certainly not there, your continued refusal to read what is written and address that is precisely what Desh does.

Kap's position is hardly about racial profiling. Try reading what he is actually saying. Also, I do note how you continue trying to spin. Saying it is 'based in truth' is accurate. But something based in truth can also be spun into a lot of bullshit... which is precisely what Kap has done. Mainly due to his own ignorance on the topic.

That said... to address the profiling in 'some areas'... why is it in 'some areas'? Is it in higher crime areas? All predominantly black neighborhoods regardless of economic conditions in said neighborhoods?

I've got family members who are black and not one of them has ever complained about being stopped and / or harassed.

Except for the one guy who likes to get drunk, act like an idiot, and is convinced that the cops are "out to get him".

:truestory:
