Blame shifting isn't going to work, Steele was not working on for the firm when the anonymous republican used them, the republican didn't use the dossier because it was 100% bullshit, and it wasn't a a Republican administration that had the FBI funnel them $9.5 million and then use this patently false report as the entire impetus for the Russian-Trump collusion fishing expedition including the wiretaps against the Trump campaign.
