What is planned?

Antifa factions nationwide plan to deface and destroy statues of Christopher Columbus on Monday, the day Americans nationwide will celebrate the Italian navigator who was the first European explorer to discover the Americas.

In September, a New York City-based radical anarchist group known as “Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement” called on Antifa groups nationwide to participate in “Deface Columbus Day,” where anarchists plan to “decorate” their local neighborhoods. RAM is an “extremely militant group that advocates for the violent redistribution of property” and for “the abolition of gender,” according to Far Left Watch.

The group even made a promotional video for the day, which shows anarchists dressed in black defacing and destroying monuments:

What did the group say?

The group released a press release on far-left wing website It’s Going Down. They said:

The battles lines have been drawn and white supremacists are on notice. White nationalist statues are crumbling all over the US as our collective revolutionary power is growing. As the monuments of white supremacist society fall we must continue to make it clear that their reign of terror is coming to an end.

For the occasion of Columbus Day, October 9th, one of the most vile ‘holidays’ of the year, the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement is calling for collectives all over the country to take action against this day and in support of indigenous people in the US and abroad who have been victims of colonialism and genocide.

We are calling for groups to “decorate” their neighborhoods as they see fit: put up murals, wheatpaste posters, drop a banner, etc. On October 9th put a picture of your action on social media and use the hashtags below. With these actions multiplied around the country, we will make it unequivocally clear that revolutionaries will always stand with the indigenous!

They’ve already been at it

Antifa and groups like RAM have already begun their reign of terror on Columbus monuments. In August, Antifa thugs destroyed the oldest Columbus monument in the nation, while later that month they beheaded a Columbus monument in Yonkers.
 
First voyage
On 3 August 1492, Columbus departed from “Palos de la Frontera”, Spain, with three ships; La Santa María, La Pinta and La Niña.
They were property of Juan de la Cosa and the Pinzon brothers (Martín Alonso and Vicente Yáñez).
Columbus first sailed to the Canary Islands where he restocked the provisions and made repairs.
On 6 September he departed San Sebastián de la Gomera to begin a five-week voyage across the ocean.

Rodrigo de Triana was the sailor who sighted land at 2 a.m on 12 October 1492, aboard La Pinta.
Columbus called the island San Salvador.

From one of his first contact with the American natives, Christopher Columbus wrote in his journal that:
“Many of the men I have seen have scars on their bodies, and when I made signs to them to find out how this happened, they indicated that people from other nearby islands come to San Salvador to capture them; they defended themselves the best they can. I believe that people from the mainland come here to take them as slaves.


Christopher Columbus went exploring and sailed off to hunt for Asia. The reason Columbus had sailed off for Asia was because: He was looking for his spices located by the Silk Road. He was motivated by the spices and that was an example of one of the three G's [God, Glory and Gold].

They're going to do what they do and the political ramifications will follow.

Might as well look at the bright side lol. Just like the left was boxed in by Kneel Gate, they are unable to come out against Antifa without alienating a sizable portion of their base. That's just how far the democrats have veered to the left---they can't give anything but half-hearted condemnation to a group that advocates the violent redistribution of property and 'the abolition of gender'.

I get the violent redistribution part, but how do you go about doing away with gender lol?

At any rate, Trump and Trumpism will reap the benefits of Antifa, BLM and other far left groups until the democrat party regains their sanity.

And I see nothing on the horizon that indicates they have the slightest interest in doing it.

It's a grotesques distortion of history.

It's attacking everything western for favor of indigenism .
Which was not a particularly enlightened culture - though we pretend it was because of exceptions like Maya.

We have to look at history thru the times it existed, and the New World began with Columbus

And at the time of Columbus the indigenous were no historical angels.

But the implied politically correct historical narrative is they were 'noble non-whites' or whatever. Genocide and slavery was practiced by the indigenous---either that, they were outliers with respect to everyone else on the planet at the time.

And had the Europeans not conquered the New World, someone else was bound to. For whatever reason [and it's an interesting anthropological question] some groups of humans were culturally 'stuck' for countless generations. Even though they had the same intelligence as any other group.

If it wasn't a European Columbus, it would have been an Asian 'Columbus'. It was inevitable that the indigenous were doomed to be conquered.

Good grief what a grotesque sight. It's pretty sick if we aren't able to overpower these pajama boys dressed up in their ISIS rags with sticks and cellphones.
 
One of the most liberal cities in the nation, NYC, has had 24 hour police presence protecting the statues of Columbus in the city. I find that interesting.
