The number of civilians killed by U.S. air strikes in Syria and Iraq has skyrocketed over the last several months, the latest sign of a possible military-strategy shift under President Trump.
The Daily Beast, partnering with the watchdog organization Airwars, found that the total number of dead since Trump took office is roughly equivalent to all civilian casualties during President Obama’s entire tenure.
Airwars researchers estimate that at least 2,300 civilians likely died from Coalition strikes overseen by the Obama White House—roughly 80 each month in Iraq and Syria. As of July 13, more than 2,200 additional civilians appear to have been killed by Coalition raids since Trump was inaugurated—upwards of 360 per month, or 12 or more civilians killed for every single day of his administration.”

Nearly 300 died in Mosul airstrike, making it one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in recent memory

The Pentagon has acknowledged 229 civilian deaths from coalition airstrikes in Iraq and Syria since the U.S. campaign against Islamic State began. Independent monitoring groups such as the London-based nonprofit Airwars put the casualty figures much higher, at about 2,700 civilians killed in airstrikes in both countries during that time.

That is exactly the problem and has been, will get worse as ISIS gets more desperate. What the MSM WILL NOT reports is the hundreds, maybe thousands of civilians killed by ISIS because they were trying to flee the conflict zones. You can't have a "state" without subjects to rule over.

I was watching a report from inside Raqqa, it is a very bloody street by street war, which inevitably results in high casualties. Daesh are like cornered rats with nothing to lose, should everybody just walk away instead? Again I repeat, every casualty should be chalked up to Obama, he is the reason that Raqqa, Mosul and Nineveh were taken in the first place.

I have the idiot on ignore so I haven't seen the basis for his comment, but on another board someone cited a similar claim using numbers for Obama that didn't begin until 2014......ignoring the first four years of his administration........did Runt do the same?......

No, true liberals were keeping the body count while Obama was in office as well. We also never forget the troops serving overseas in hot spots or the veterans, I think about them everyday.
 
You were so upset, so angry at the civilian casualties during the Obama years, but now that there is even more, my dear, you couldn't care less. Now what does that say about you as a person?
