Actually, not that long. The Clinton investigation as well as the Nixon investigation took far longer than the few months that Mueller has been in charge.
Iran Contra took over 2,000 days as did Watergate, as you have been told on numerous occasions, investigations take time, especially if they involve foreign entities.
