Survivors have reported summary executions, indiscriminate rape and the wholesale destruction of villages. Land mines now line the road out of Myanmar.

The United Nations high commissioner for human rights, Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein, has classified these acts as “a textbook example of ethnic cleansing.”

So you agree the Muslims should stay in the Buddhist nation that does not want them there?

I think the Rohingya should stay in the country they were born in, the country they in their ancestors have lived in for decades. I do not agree with ethnic cleansing and genocide as a policy to achieve an ethnically, religiously pure state, which you seem to support. They have no Bengali citizenship and do not belong there, they belong where they were born.
