Now here is the funny part of Dumber's point, we can see that someone solicited him, Dumber admits this, then he goes on to say that because he, Jr, said, okay, let's meet at my place, that he was the one who sought the Russian out.
"Great! Here's my phone number. Meet at my place." = solicitation
That is not a solicitation you dumbfuck, that is an ANSWER to a solicitation.

The only really interesting angle is what Goldstone was up to in getting Junior to a bogus meeting. Why did he initiate the contact with Junior? Did he have his own reasons or did someone put him up to it?
It may be as mundane as using a false pretext to get Junior to listen about the Russian adoption issue. As far as Trump or the election is concerned that angle is a Nothing Burger no matter how you slice it. Even Mueller's investigation of it has been reduced to looking at how the Trump response was crafted---to a Nothing Burger!
Then there's the Russian lawyer's connection to Fusion GPS. And Fusion GPS is linked to the Fake Piss Dossier. If there's any Meat under the Bun it has to do with Fusion's connection to the Russian lawyer. But that doesn't damage Trump, so yeah.
The Fake Piss Dossier as you recall, originated when someone, during an election campaign, solicited dirt on Trump, FROM RUSSIANS, through a British foreign agent.

The Fake Piss Dossier was compiled, for profit, by Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence agent. Steele was initially paid for his work by some republican in the primaries but after Trump won the primaries, Steeles tab was picked up by the democrats---probably the DNC.

It is either illegal to pay foreign agents for opposition research during an election---or it isn't. If it's illegal for Trump to allegedly do it, it's sure as hell illegal for democrats to *actually* do it.
