"Trump: Tax reform can create ‘millions of jobs"

What investments are you referring to? The only benefit of lower taxes is greater profits, which helps one investors not the workers.

really?........have you ever heard if an investors beginning a new business or expanding an old one?.........where did you think that money came from?.......

it was good to cut taxes in the 60s.......it was good to cut taxes in the 90s........it was good to cut taxes in 2002........it will be good to cut taxes in 2017........it will be good to cut taxes again in 2024......

taxes dont need to be lower on corportions

it didnt work last time you fucks insisted on it either

I teach welding at a vocational school, and all I know is, I've had 4 employers come to my class looking for apprentices in the first six months of the Trump administration. That may not seem like many, but it's a 100% increase over the entire EIGHT YEARS of the obama error. There is definitely something going on and I don't think it's business gleefully anticipating a return to obamanomics or "democratic socialism".

Did you think economies turn around in six months? It was the Obama Administration that led to today's resurgence, and considering from it started back in 2009, it has been a slow but creditable accomplishment

Have a feeling your just in love with the words "tax cut" regardless of the consequences, some "tax cuts" really aren't what they pretend to be

Actually many do advocate that. Ye old pot hole argument again?

Almost $4 trillion dollar budget for potholes?

Oh yeah the arts. Can't have art without gobblement.

And agriculture. Lordy knows there would be zero plants and no food without gobblement

Oh I forgot energy. Remember Dept of Energy? Cahta created it to ,wait for it, reduce our dependency on foreign oil.

Yup we would have zero energy without gobblement

What would we have without the evil gobblement??

What do you attribute it to??

Please enlighten us as to what obama did to turn the economy? And I would actually argue that the economy has really not done much at all, but people are just optimistic that the things Trump ran on will bring about change. That, and the deregulation that has been going on. And don't you think that if the voters thought obama was doing such a bang up job, they would have voted for hillbag as a caretaker of that legacy? And don't give me that popular vote crap either, the flyover states have spoken

How are they so different than those of Texas?

http://texas-sales-tax-rate.insidegov.com/

And a national sales tax is not going to top out at 8%

Exactly. Which limits the power and scope of government.

But the question remains. Why would compassionate liberal states like Commiefornia and NY implement a regressive tax system? Why is it ok for states and not Feds?

If you are stuck just say so. I don't mind accepting your concession.

No problem, but you should know yourself looking at indicators the current President boasts about, unemployment and the Dow, both of which is pretty close to where they were when he took office in January. And if you were really interested in the facts you would see where they were when Obama took office

And last I looked, Obama wasn't on the ballot in the last election

Love it, NY and Calf don't have a regressive tax system, quite the opposite, and the sales tax that they do impose would be a fraction of the sales tax that would be necessary in a Federal tax system which was solely based upon a national sales tax

sales tax is regressive but NY and CA sales tax is NOT regressive, cuz they're progressives and progressives can't be regressive........understand, Alice?.........

So let's see if we get your logic

You believe a sales tax is a regressive tax.

It is pointed out to you that liberal bastions like CA and NY have a sales tax and your response is "they don't have a regressive tax"

Got it. Thanks Legion. You used to be so much better at this
