Watch out, Tom and Diva will be here shortly to post a chart showing there are stronger hurricanes, not realizing the qualifier is originating in the Atlantic.

Yes I will, so where did these hurricanes originate ffs? You were only saying that other day that weather is not climate yet here you are now claiming otherwise. I imagine the Carribean or the Pacific, their is a post in another thread, the one where I initially posted the article about Irma being the largest to originate in the Atlantic basin, that states their origin and it showed them to be primarily from the Carribean and from the Pacific. This is the largest to come from the Atlantic basin.
 
Instead of going a few rounds about who is right and what chart is best, I will take some time and pray for everyone in this storm's path and leave being right, or wrong, to all of you.

I have just spoken to an old friend who is with a film crew on Guadeloupe shooting a BBC TV series called Murder in Paradise. Looks like they've missed the worst of it.
