It's hard to defend Hillary when she frequently refuses to accept any real blame for her brand of politics. And saying that Bernie isn't a Democrat is kinda stupid, when the Democratic platform was shifted to the center under the Clintons. Democrat is a party label and is effectively meaningless, except as an organizing banner. If the Democrats stand for progressive policies, and not neo-liberal policies which originate from Reagonomics, then why is Bernie a plague on Democrats? Why was Bernie able to pull Hillary in his direction, and she couldn't pull him in hers?

Stop crying. You lost in part because you ran a shitty campaign, because you represented Wall Street interests, and because Trump was able to beat you in a race to the bottom. Trump won because a good portion of the electorate eats the shit that he spews. Progressives are harder to win because they expect more out of their leaders.

 
Yeah - I saw that about the new book. Completely lame.

10 years from now, the ONLY positive thing about the '16 campaign will be the Bernie effect - energizing young voters, inspiring others to stick to their principles, showing that the establishment doesn't know what "electable" means and creating the future leaders of the Dem party.

I was about to start a thread on this. All I can think is just, wow, this bitch is really showing her true colors. She actulally did believe that no one should have had the gall to run against her.

In her mind a better candidate shouldn't have had the gall to run against her, I have no doubt.
I'd really like to hear from the few remaining diehard hrc fans on this. midcam and Micawber are the only two I can think of.
 
Hillary had some decent ideas, but she never fought for them, and on issues where she could have beaten Bernie, she ran from those positions. Keep in mind that Obama and Hillary are almost ideological twins, and whereas I'd support Bernie over Hillary, I'd support Obama over Bernie. Sometimes leadership qualities go a long way. Hillary never possessed those.

Those who support Trump have no leg to stand on by calling Bill a pervert. Trump is a twice accused-rapist who admitted to peeping on naked teen beauty contestants, and is accused by like two dozen women of crotch attacks and forced slobbering on their mouths.

Bill is a pervert, but I don't support him and never did. You don't get to call him that while supporting Trump, who is worse in every way than Bill Clinton.

He polled well because he was never attacked.

Why do you think republicans attacked Clinton while pushing Bernie Sanders?

That being said, I agree that Clinton should just shut up.
