Vote by mail. I do. Eliminates all that. Except that criminals and those running from bill collectors don't like giving out their real addresses making it difficult to get ballots mailed to them.

If they had bothered to learn how to read in the 3rd and 4th grade it wouldn't be 'misinformation'. Besides, I saw a lot of misinformation starting in June 2015. It continues, in fact it's worse now.

I believe any honest person can admit there is more than just a grain of truth to this. A YouTube of any Trump rally, or even the most cursory review of the body of work of rightwing message board posters bears this out.

White American men have been the most privileged subset of human beings in the history of the planet -- and for some of them accustomed to that bubble of comfort, I can them being dismayed at the thought of sharing the fruits of their privilege. They will cling to it like grim death!

I think it is mostly mediocre, and inferior white men who most panicked about a cultural shift - because mediocre and inferior white men have the most to lose by being stripped of their privilege. A true meritocracy in America almost certainly dismays and terrifies a mediocre Trump supporter. Depends adult undergarments might even get soiled!
