Feel free to tell me what you think this story has to do with race. The women and baby in it are white. I'm a new father, but even that is not relevant. Seeing a baby living on the street like this is sad. As mentioned my wife told me her mother's group has had heated discussions about this. I'm aware this is a political board and thus the roll of gov't is at question here and should they step in.

It's my fault for not blocking her from the thread knowing she has nothing to contribute but call people racist.

I've seen one or more of those in San Diego. Show me a virtue and I'll show you a vice. That's the trust issue. Cons trust nobody and don't ever want to get taken for even a penny. So real victims suffer. I don't know whether to blame the Cons or the professional beggars that have turned this into a grift. But I certainly can't blame the kind hearted Democrats who hand money out to a crying lady with a baby on the chance its legit. That's like blaming penicillin for Sailor's exotic mutated resistant STDs.

If your referring to the government taking away her baby, it shouldn't. PERIOD!

Now, if you want to really address the situation and find real solutions that can and will work, it can start by the government providing free birth control for men and woman, along with free no hassle abortions.

Otherwise, your just judging and spewing right wing ideology, which has never worked.

I see. So all the people, including the Chronicle, in San Francisco who are discussing this are just judging and spewing right wing ideology? Because you would never judge a situation or others would you? Why are so many liberals acting this way? Don't they know to listen and be more like you?
