The funny thing is that if one assumes their belief that there is a biological and genetic component to minority underachievement it does not necessarily translate into a policy choice they want. It is further required to think that ^ above and further decide not to care about it. One could use a genetic disparity argument to support rather than oppose affirmative action programs. So I basically think, " sure it's a reprehensible and false belief," but also ask them "so what?" What are your policy implication for your belief about race?
