Your correct, a little bit of both, but I'm still not big on the fireworks, makes the dog crazy and once you've seen one fireworks show you've seen them all

Correct, more than conservatives do it, but it is the conservatives who seem to feel that it is some kind of rite of passage, like it defines or makes you an American.

I'd even wager that if you gave a test, the vast majority of Americans couldn't tell you what happened that day and why the date is significant

Nah, played golf, and shortly attending the local minor league baseball game, probably even have a hot dog, don't know if I'll stay for the fireworks though, seen one fireworks show seen them all

By the way, the hot dog will be a real German hot dog, not the cereal brand dog most Americans eat, one of the benefits of living in the NorthEast, I suppose now that makes me unAmerican

A hot dogs a hot dog to me. They're all pretty good.

Although a stadium dog tastes different because they rape you with the price although it's possible they are more reasonable at a minor league stadium
