As I've said all along, '18 will still be a shellacking for the GOP in the House. I'm not sure if the Dems will actually win a majority back, but they'll come close. The Senate is tougher logistically in '18. I actually expect the Dems to lose 1-2 seats there, which will still be pretty bad news for the GOP given a near-historic opportunity that they have in the Senate that year.

Right... Considering how hard the Ds worked to win that seat, worked to make it into a "referendum" on Trump's presidency, outspent every other Congressional race in history by a multitude... Yeah, that's a victory.

I think its only fair that the demmycrats share the 6th District seat.....I propose that Ossoff hold the seat on days that no votes are taken and Handel hold the seat on days when the House votes.........

It is - no one is really saying it isn't. But yesterday was more a testament to the desperation on the side of the Dems, more than anything. There are some districts you can pour a billion dollars into & it won't change the outcome.

I don't think GA's 6th is that kind of district, but it was a big uphill climb they were looking at. They shouldn't have spent so much money. To me, that's the biggest message from yesterday.

I know as a Trump supporter, you probably see yesterday's results as great vindication for your guy. But everyone seems to be reading whatever they want into it, so that's no crime.

Since I'm not, I don't see it that way. Many Republicans are against Trump, just look at how they are trying to pass the h/c legislation without him in on the details etc. I just thought maybe you would have an honest comment about an actual political issue instead of your usual dishonest bullshit.
